Purchased 2020
5 years and going strong. I use this adapter to scan BACNET comm lines. It has never not worked. I will use this when other adapters fail to double check myself. I believe this can also be used to connect to generic BACNET devices like Mitsubishi comm cards. (I originally purchased it to program a mini split comm adapter). I recommend this to co workers as their preferred RS-485 adapter. Ken Trane Controls.

Good unit
Works, would have given it 5 stars except there was no written documentation or useful marking on the case. I added my own label. I have used in half duplex (2 wire) and full duplex 4-wire settings. My use was to connect to two servo motors from Applied Motion Products.

Worked with M1 Mac
I was nervous because the driver listed only intel Macs. It worked for me with my M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS Ventura, version13.1, using cool term. The device showed up in cool term without installing any drivers. I initially had my baud set incorrectly. So, I thought it wasn't working and installed the driver. Now two devices show up in cool term. Both seem to work correctly.

Works for WATLOW PM6 Controllers
For the 1 person alive who is also using WATLOW's EZ-Zone Configurator, this works as well as - or better than - the one sold by WATLOW and is only about 14% the cost. We'll see how it holds up over time. Plugging it in and letting Windows (don't know about Mac & Linux) download the driver, or going to Device Manager and getting the driver off the web should get you running. Just remember to set the latency for the COM port if there are issues. You will still need to send power to the WATLOW device while trying to configure it.
