This is a small ish loaf recipe. For sourdough folks, it was filled with my half loaf (225 g flour version) or a large split in 2. The quality is good. I love the liners. I know some bakers don't use it but I do.

Works well with the Emile henry sourdough pot i purchased. Perfect size.

I love these bannetons! I bake a lot of sourdough bread, and these are perfect for a starting flour weight of 250-400g (not including other weights). I hand washed the liners when I got them, let them air dry, and haven’t washed them since. I dust with rice flour before every use, let them dry completely after use and then store in a bag so the flour doesn’t get everywhere. The banneton seem quite sturdy, and work as they should. I occasionally use them to make batards as well, just reshape the dough after my overnight cold proof. I would recommend these!

You are going to need something to bake with dough coming out of these. Most Dutch ovens are just not that long; I invested in a 22" X 16" X1/4" steel plate, and I can and do bake two at a time. These are not too wide and help hold the shape of your dough and gives you an option on the size bread you can make. While baking, I place these on top of the oven, given proper care they will last for many years. and they are dry before your bread is finished baking. The right tools make baking easier and fun, and you can't go wrong with these!

It says 5 inches round 6 pack. I only received 5pcs instead of 6 pcs. Why?

These baskets are expensive for what they are but seem to be priced market value on Amazon. The basket did a lovely job on proofing the bread. I’ve never used a proofing basket before and highly recommend one.

I found rice flour worked best whether using the basket with or without the cotton liner, to stop the dough sticking. They work fine

The bowl works well (excellent size) and is nice and light. I have washed the liner 4 times already (cold wash, laid flat to dry) and it is showing no signs of wear. All dough that was stuck on the liner washed off well in the machine. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars, I would give 5 stars if they provided a second liner, a second liner would be really nice.

Product was received on time and in good condition. Just making my first sourdough loaf now and I am quite contnt with the functionality of the proofing basket
