These are very good boots. They have amazing grip on the side of the rocks I climbed over. You can also feel the ground under your feet for sure fitting. They did not slip anywhere.

I picked these primarily for work, but my combat boots end up being my every day boots for everything. These had a great star rating so I thought I would give them a try since they were so affordable. Overall I like them. The soles are a little flat and they run a little big for my 10 1/2 foot but the main problem I have is the tongue bunches up and I can’t seem to get it straightened out where it doesn’t do that. Maybe if I laced them down tighter they might not ride back up to the middle, but I like them a little loose so I can deal with it. The zipper is smooth with zero binding right now, and they are pretty good on traction. They also polish up to new pretty easily. The toe section is a little soft so there’s not a lot of protection there, but I’m not doing anything where I would need to worry about that. Overall they are good performers in if something major happens, I will update but so far they seem very solid.

Only worn them for 2 days so far so longevity is not known yet. However, I'm on my feet and moving all day sometimes 6 days a week so if I get a year out of them I will be impressed. They are relatively comfortable brand new. Will need gel insoles in a few months. Could also use a pull tab on the back like 511 boots for easier slipping on.

I’ve worn side-zip boots, both dress and work boots, for 40 years as they’re easy to get on and off plus support your ankle better than regular shoes. Unfortunately, they seem to be getting harder and harder to find, especially with respect to dress boots. The last pair of work boots I bought, approximately two years ago and for over $100, are getting worn and, after 2-3 hours of yard work, including pushing the mower for an hour, were causing my feet to ache and swell so much that I would be hobbling around a day or two afterwards until my feet felt better. I found these on Amazon and thought I’d give them a try. I’m glad I did, especially given the price. I’ve worn them three times doing yard work, and they are so, so, so much more comfortable than the boots I had been wearing, and they seem to getting more comfortable with each use. Most importantly, my feet don’t ache nor have they swollen after wearing these boots for several hours. They also look nice (I bought the black ones) and I wouldn’t have a problem wearing them as casual dress shoes. A few other thoughts and opinions: The upper eyelets are actually little tubes that the lace runs through. In my opinion, they’re a little bit harder to pull the laces through than ordinary eyelets and over time would probably abrade the laces faster than regular eyelets, but since the zipper eliminates the need to regularly tie and untie the laces, this probably isn’t a big deal. On the plus side, eyelets are better than speed hooks as the laces would probably come off the hooks when the boots are unzipped. The sole appears to be a little softer than some work boots I’ve owned, and as a result will probably wear a bit faster when walking on surfaces like asphalt and concrete. Time will tell. I have yet to wear them on wet or icy surfaces or in the snow, so it will be interesting to see how they compare to the soles on other boots I’ve owned. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase, especially given the price, and will probably order another pair.

I really like the boots- but after 6 months the zipper broke off. They were a good deal, but that zipper to raise and lower is a major part of the boot. I still use them, tediously to get them on. I still love the boots. I guess if worst gets worst I could use a paperclip somehow? Great aesthetic boots- but losing that zipper sucked.

The shoes is comfortable inside isn't hard ,it's like putting your feet on a pillow and the zipper at the side is very helpful when it comes to taking off the shoes you don't even have to untie it to take it off once the side zipper is down.its tree to size and worth the price easy to put on and the lacing is good no tackle

Excellente bottes pour le prix. Difficile à battre. Chaudes, confortables et elles respirent et gardent vos pieds au sec. Je les utilise pour faire de la raquette et je cherchais une botte légère. Je les recommande.
