I am writing this review exactly a month to the day that I first got this device & started using it. I had bad hormonal acne on my face concentrated around my chin (yes, I'm female, this is my husband's acct) & a friend made a Facebook post about how she got rid of her cystic acne & cleared up her face so I asked her how she did it & was introduced to this device. I immediately ordered one & at first I kept it on a fairly low power setting, about a 3 or 3 &1/2 & after a few days of using it, I thought my skin on my face looked smoother & softer. After 2 weeks, I started getting more comfortable with the machine so by that time, I had the power level turned up almost full blast & I definitely noticed my cystic acne was clearing up. My skin looked vibrant & my pores looked noticably smaller so I decided to start using it on my neck & chest & on my stretch marks on my breasts & hips just to see what would happen. I also started using it on the back of my hands where I was starting to notice my skin changing (I'm 41) & I have not noticed much change on my stretch marks (maybe just tighter skin) but I have noticed a change in the skin on the back of my hands only after a few days of using it there. Now here I am exactly a month into using it ( I missed about 3 or 4 days total of using it during the month because I forgot a time or 2 & my power went out for a couple days after a storm) & I can't believe how much the skin on my face has improved. I had tried everything to clear up my cystic acne & nothing worked & was starting to get concerned that I was going to scar my face up picking at it. My hands & neck look better too & it does tighten the skin. My forehead wrinkles which were rather deep have also improved as well as fine lines around the eyes. I'm very glad I gave this a chance. It's worth the money but you have to be consistent. I want to mention that I have body piercings & it did not harm or negatively affect my jewelry which I did not remove while using. At first I tried not to touch them because I had read other reviews where people were concerned about this but eventually ended up unintentionally touching my piercing jewelry & nothing happened so there's that. It does put off an odd smell which reminds me of pennies & it does seem like you can taste it in your mouth at times but you get used to that & it doesn't bother me now. Also with the power level turned up pretty much to the max, you will feel a small electrical type zapping which weirded me out at first but now it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something because I know it's working, lol. I also wanted to mention that I have had no "racing heart" symptoms like I saw a couple people talking about in the reviews. I'm extremely happy with this purchase & would definitely recommend this to others. EDIT: In addition, I read that wrapping the end of the bulb with gauze helps increase the potency of your treatments by allowing more oxygen around the electrode & the more oxygen that you allow around the electrode, the more effective it is. Putting gauze over your face or the area in which you’re using high frequency, allows a gap from your skin to the electrode creating more space for the ozone to form and do its thing. Just a tip I picked up that I've noticed helps.

This works just as well as the professional machine I used in an esthetics office! I originally purchased it for scalp stimulation in the salon, and I absolutely love it—it truly works. After seeing my son’s school pictures and noticing how much his hormonal acne had worsened, I knew exactly what I wanted to try. After just one use, by the next day his skin looked less blotchy and the inflammation had noticeably decreased. By day three, his acne had visibly started clearing up! It’s incredibly easy to use, effective, and feels like a professional-quality device. I’m so impressed with the results and highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

Okay I originally bought this to help with hair growth since mine has thinned drastically over the last 2 years. I haven’t had this for a full week yet so I can’t comment on that. However, I have really bad KP bumps on my arms and I used this 3x on one arm and lord is it soft! My other arm feels the same as it always had but the one I’ve been using this on, you almost wouldn’t know I have KP bumps. I also used this 2x on an infected helix piercing that I’ve had trouble with for a year, next day the pain was gone. I’m hoping it will cause the bump to get smaller. I also have acne scars and some scars on my face from a dog bite as a child, I’m using it on those as well, also mosquito bites, seems like it helped the itching go away quicker. This has become like a magic wand in my eyes! I’m trying it on every imperfection on my skin to see what it can do. I really hope it helps my hair growth but that will be awhile before I see any results. I will buy this again if I need to. And I’ve been telling everyone I know and having them touch my arms to see the difference!!!!

So I just got my device and have used it once, yesterday. Immediately after, my skin felt great and it just looked radiant... I couldn't quite put my finger on it but it de-puffed my face and it kind of evened out my tone (I'm assuming that's due to increased blood flow.) I woke up today and my acne was completely dried out and reduced to tiny spots! I've never had anything have such a fast effect on acne, not even prescription topical antibiotics. If it helps reduce breakouts over time, or addresses my persistent redness, I'll definitely come back and update to 5 stars. For now I can say if you have acne consistently it's probably worth it. In the long haul it may be cheaper than continuously buying and trying a bunch of topical products. I used it with a generous layer of drugstore glycerin (because I already had it lying around) and just rinsed the glycerin off afterwards and continued with my usual skincare products (minus retinol as the instructions caution not to use a retinoid on the same day as the device.)

I just wanted to start off with this because reading people write that they are disappointed in this after a few uses is really frustrating. The real solution to healthy skin actually starts from within, STOP expecting companies tools to magically fix your problems. Rating them a 0 because your collagen production isn't up to par to the way that is used to be or even because your acne hasn't cleared as quickly as desired is silly. I went to school for esthetics and know that normally good HF machine is hundreds and hundreds of dollars which is why the moment I saw this, I immediately purchased it. Certain things you should know before you purchase this ( or have it ). Normally, you aren't supposed to feel anything ( it even says that in the instructions ). You hear the probe working but again, you are not really supposed to feel anything. If you do feel a zap, it's not going to kill you, you just put it up way too high ( also says that in the instructions). ALSO WHEN USING THE PROBE THERE IS A SCENT THAT COMES WITH IT, NO THE MACHINE IS NOT FAULTY, NO YOUR HAIRS ARE NOT BURNING, IT IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO SMELL. Also, the glass IS THIN AND SENSITIVE, DON'T GRAB IT HARD OR ELSE IT WILL BREAK. Always grab the probe by the body and pull straight up. Don't grab it by the head and wiggle it because it will break. This is my favorite way to kill all the bacteria underneath my skin, help with my dark circles ( I will write how I do that below ) and keep my skin nice and healthy. Anyways.... NuDerma, I am sorry you had some people use this the wrong way and maybe lost some customers due to ratings. I think this product is incredible, very high quality and you will forever have a loyal customer. ----- If you are still reading and are curious how this helps my dark circles, I use the thin prob and circle it counterclockwise AROUND my eyes as it stimulates the blood flow. Do not put this on your eyelid ( not sure why you would ) circle it right below the eyebrow and below your eye.

I absolutely love this device! I only use it about three times a week for 2–3 minutes on my entire face, and I’ve noticed a significant difference. My skin feels much smoother, my pores look much smaller, and the occasional acne I used to get is completely gone. It has honestly been amazing for my skin!

Everything came nicely packaged and seems to be good quality. I haven’t had anything break or not function properly. I don’t know that it works for me unfortunately. Once I turned 30 I got struck with hormonal acne and I have tried everything I can think of that doesn’t require going to the spa. I drink lots of water, supplements, natural remedies and harsher face washes, I extract and exfoliate, etc... I’m now freshly 31 and I still have these struggles. I also started getting some age spots on my forehead about 4 years ago. I’m also a mom so my eyes look exhausted all the time. I was really hopeful about this because it seems to be gentle on the skin (I have very sensitive skin) and looking at most of the reviews it seems like it’s helped a lot of women. Plus, it sounded to me like it would help with some of these other struggles I have (age spots, fine wrinkles, and tired eyes). The first few weeks I was on setting #1 for two minutes, every other day. I didn’t see any changes so I went up to setting #2 for 2 minutes every other day. I recently upped it to setting #2 for 4 minutes every other day and sometimes a couple days in a row. So I realize there is a chance that I’m not putting enough “umph” behind it, but also their instructional video states that a little goes a long way and we are dealing with electrical stuff here. So I want to be smart about this. IF I should happen to have any changes I will update honestly, but so far this is my experience. It might work for you like it has for others and it does seem like a good quality machine. I do feel like it has helped my hair! I don’t have any before or after for that though. I was more focused on my sad looking facial skin. March 19th was before ever using Nuderma. I know it hasn’t been a month even, but for a lot of reviews it seemed to give results within a few days to a few weeks. Hopefully I can get back on here with a positive update! Sidenote: I purchased the smaller box separately.

So far I am loving this product! Just after 1 use I noticed the difference the next day. My skin just looked more hydrated and better rested. I had changed nothing from my face routine and noticed a significant difference. I LOVE it! It may be subtle but I can tell. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was planning on spending thousands on microneedling but decided to wait. I am in my mid 30s and have always looked a lot younger than my age (people tend to think I’m between 18-25). Recently I noticed some sun spots, hormonal acne, and just overall complexion decline. I used this on a couple new breakouts and after two days they look drastically different than if I had a breakout a few weeks ago. This wand is my new secret! I will add that I’m also taking spearmint capsules for balancing of hormones. This also could be adding to the changes but I doubt it since it typically takes a bit to get in your system. Who knows but I will definitely not stop the routine I am currently on. Update 6/14/19: I’ve been using this wand daily and haven’t given up. I also use it on my scalp. I haven’t noticed a huge difference there but I have noticed more flyaways and small hairs growing so that’s a start! One thing I have to share is that this morning I had a sad mishap with the curved rod. I used it as I normally would but when I went to remove it from the wand, the tip broke. I immediately emailed the company and they responded right away and had a new one shipped by the afternoon. Problem solved! I am extremely pleased with their service—makes me love this product even more!

For high frequency devices to have any actual effect their frequency is supposed to be over 100Hz, this device is 50-60Hz. The specs are not mentioned on Amazon for this very reason. Read about required device frequency online. This device is simply not doing what it is advertised to do.

This product is not compatible with electricity supplies outside Canada and the USA. On the box it clearly states that the product should not be used with adapters. The information on the page says it runs on batteries
