I am writing this review exactly a month to the day that I first got this device & started using it. I had bad hormonal acne on my face concentrated around my chin (yes, I'm female, this is my husband's acct) & a friend made a Facebook post about how she got rid of her cystic acne & cleared up her face so I asked her how she did it & was introduced to this device. I immediately ordered one & at first I kept it on a fairly low power setting, about a 3 or 3 &1/2 & after a few days of using it, I thought my skin on my face looked smoother & softer. After 2 weeks, I started getting more comfortable with the machine so by that time, I had the power level turned up almost full blast & I definitely noticed my cystic acne was clearing up. My skin looked vibrant & my pores looked noticably smaller so I decided to start using it on my neck & chest & on my stretch marks on my breasts & hips just to see what would happen. I also started using it on the back of my hands where I was starting to notice my skin changing (I'm 41) & I have not noticed much change on my stretch marks (maybe just tighter skin) but I have noticed a change in the skin on the back of my hands only after a few days of using it there. Now here I am exactly a month into using it ( I missed about 3 or 4 days total of using it during the month because I forgot a time or 2 & my power went out for a couple days after a storm) & I can't believe how much the skin on my face has improved. I had tried everything to clear up my cystic acne & nothing worked & was starting to get concerned that I was going to scar my face up picking at it. My hands & neck look better too & it does tighten the skin. My forehead wrinkles which were rather deep have also improved as well as fine lines around the eyes. I'm very glad I gave this a chance. It's worth the money but you have to be consistent. I want to mention that I have body piercings & it did not harm or negatively affect my jewelry which I did not remove while using. At first I tried not to touch them because I had read other reviews where people were concerned about this but eventually ended up unintentionally touching my piercing jewelry & nothing happened so there's that. It does put off an odd smell which reminds me of pennies & it does seem like you can taste it in your mouth at times but you get used to that & it doesn't bother me now. Also with the power level turned up pretty much to the max, you will feel a small electrical type zapping which weirded me out at first but now it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something because I know it's working, lol. I also wanted to mention that I have had no "racing heart" symptoms like I saw a couple people talking about in the reviews. I'm extremely happy with this purchase & would definitely recommend this to others. EDIT: In addition, I read that wrapping the end of the bulb with gauze helps increase the potency of your treatments by allowing more oxygen around the electrode & the more oxygen that you allow around the electrode, the more effective it is. Putting gauze over your face or the area in which you’re using high frequency, allows a gap from your skin to the electrode creating more space for the ozone to form and do its thing. Just a tip I picked up that I've noticed helps.

I just wanted to start off with this because reading people write that they are disappointed in this after a few uses is really frustrating. The real solution to healthy skin actually starts from within, STOP expecting companies tools to magically fix your problems. Rating them a 0 because your collagen production isn't up to par to the way that is used to be or even because your acne hasn't cleared as quickly as desired is silly. I went to school for esthetics and know that normally good HF machine is hundreds and hundreds of dollars which is why the moment I saw this, I immediately purchased it. Certain things you should know before you purchase this ( or have it ). Normally, you aren't supposed to feel anything ( it even says that in the instructions ). You hear the probe working but again, you are not really supposed to feel anything. If you do feel a zap, it's not going to kill you, you just put it up way too high ( also says that in the instructions). ALSO WHEN USING THE PROBE THERE IS A SCENT THAT COMES WITH IT, NO THE MACHINE IS NOT FAULTY, NO YOUR HAIRS ARE NOT BURNING, IT IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO SMELL. Also, the glass IS THIN AND SENSITIVE, DON'T GRAB IT HARD OR ELSE IT WILL BREAK. Always grab the probe by the body and pull straight up. Don't grab it by the head and wiggle it because it will break. This is my favorite way to kill all the bacteria underneath my skin, help with my dark circles ( I will write how I do that below ) and keep my skin nice and healthy. Anyways.... NuDerma, I am sorry you had some people use this the wrong way and maybe lost some customers due to ratings. I think this product is incredible, very high quality and you will forever have a loyal customer. ----- If you are still reading and are curious how this helps my dark circles, I use the thin prob and circle it counterclockwise AROUND my eyes as it stimulates the blood flow. Do not put this on your eyelid ( not sure why you would ) circle it right below the eyebrow and below your eye.

This is one of those products you hear raved about, but skepticism makes you think it can't possibly be as good as all the hype. Well, this one is that good. It's amazing. BUT: DO NOT USE THIS WHILE TOUCHING A LAPTOP/ELECTRONIC DEVICE--It will cause the device to malfunction!!!! But other than that, this wand is so great. I use it in the evening everyday for 5-10 minutes all over my face. I find that using it right after moisturizing with a serum and high-liquid gel moisturizer helps the wand to glide around more smoothly. I generally use the round pad attachment only, all over the face. I also will use that part at the corner of my hairline, where I have historically thin hair. let me tell you: As a 35 year old woman who gets filler and Botox, and who has a complete skin care regimen of about 10 products, I'm VERY sensitive to the quality of my skin as I age. I started using this device after I heard such amazing stories about it. And it works as good as everybody said it did!!! I started the first couple of times on the halfway setting, but found that I'm able to easily tolerate the highest setting. After a week of using it, I noticed a difference in my skin quality, and after 2 weeks I noticed a huge difference. This thing has almost as much of a positive effect on the tautness and texture of my skin as Botox does!!! It makes your skin tighter, smoother, less puffy, you pores smaller, your skin tone more even; it helps fade blemishes, and it kills acne-causing bacteria and thus lessens acne as well! If I feel a pimple coming in, I give it a long, 10-20 second zap right on the pimple, and it helps make the pimple not get as bad and go away faster. I use the wand at night, after I put on my hyaluronic pm moisturizer, and before I put on my retinol. It is supposed to increase your skin's absorption of skincare products, too, and I believe it! Along with my once a week at home acid-micro needling treatments, I also use this device daily as part of my skin upkeep. It's great and completely worth the investment

I purchased this just shy of a year ago and really loved it. Made my skin look smooth and glowing. I don't really have severe acne so I can't really speak to those benefits, I used it for the anti-aging. All that being said, I took it out of the case yesterday to use and realized the metal tip of the wand had broken off in the device the last time I'd used it, and I hadn't noticed. I was always as careful as possible when using. So now I need to decide if I go with a cheaper brand (there are many), or invest again and get an extended warranty. Overall I loved this product but it is very fragile and you shouldn't expect it to last for years.

I am really impressed after the first use of this product. I thought it would be more time consuming than it actually was. My whole face and neck took maybe 5 mins (they say don't exceed 2 mins but I have bad eyesight so there was a lot of time in between the actual treatments/usage events. I have somewhat sensitive skin, with not too bad acne. But there were 5 major blemishes that I wanted to target. Right after treatment, I could not see much difference. Today 4 blemishes are gone and 1 is much improved. Overall, the skin looks good. I will continue using this as directed and will try to remember to come back and update my review. It worked so well that I am going to use it on some stretch marks on my abdomen, when I use the treatment again later this week. Very happy with my NuDerma. Thanks!

Purchased 2 months ago. I am extremely critical and have high standards. I absolutely love this wand and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I have seen dramatic improvements in my skin and hair. My skin looks so good I have even received compliments on how good my skin looks. I use it every day on my face and scalp. I can already see my hair growing and love to use it because my hair looks voluminous after. SKIN - I use drugstore aloe Vera vitamin e that’s water based as a lubricant. Rub all over my face and neck. Then put on Lancôme Génifique hyaluronic acid. Turn my wand on full blast with the mushroom head and hit my entire face and neck. Then I swap out the mushroom head and put the eye flat one on and hit my under eye area. The aloe vitamin e and serum soak right in. My face looks so good after. Then I finish with the rest of my face routine. HAIR - I use it on my scalp every day. Clean hair no product. Brush with wand my entire scalp. Even lift my hair and brush it on my scalp. (I have thick hair) after I’m done I put organic rosemary oil on my scalp. My hair has been growing and I have baby hairs coming out now. I absolutely recommend buying. I think I might just buy the clinical one now because of the added unit.

Everything came nicely packaged and seems to be good quality. I haven’t had anything break or not function properly. I don’t know that it works for me unfortunately. Once I turned 30 I got struck with hormonal acne and I have tried everything I can think of that doesn’t require going to the spa. I drink lots of water, supplements, natural remedies and harsher face washes, I extract and exfoliate, etc... I’m now freshly 31 and I still have these struggles. I also started getting some age spots on my forehead about 4 years ago. I’m also a mom so my eyes look exhausted all the time. I was really hopeful about this because it seems to be gentle on the skin (I have very sensitive skin) and looking at most of the reviews it seems like it’s helped a lot of women. Plus, it sounded to me like it would help with some of these other struggles I have (age spots, fine wrinkles, and tired eyes). The first few weeks I was on setting #1 for two minutes, every other day. I didn’t see any changes so I went up to setting #2 for 2 minutes every other day. I recently upped it to setting #2 for 4 minutes every other day and sometimes a couple days in a row. So I realize there is a chance that I’m not putting enough “umph” behind it, but also their instructional video states that a little goes a long way and we are dealing with electrical stuff here. So I want to be smart about this. IF I should happen to have any changes I will update honestly, but so far this is my experience. It might work for you like it has for others and it does seem like a good quality machine. I do feel like it has helped my hair! I don’t have any before or after for that though. I was more focused on my sad looking facial skin. March 19th was before ever using Nuderma. I know it hasn’t been a month even, but for a lot of reviews it seemed to give results within a few days to a few weeks. Hopefully I can get back on here with a positive update! Sidenote: I purchased the smaller box separately.

I can vouch that this does work excellent for acne. For some crazy reason my facial skin lost its mind and I started developing acne all along my jaw bone on both sides of my face. And these weren't small white heads, these were the deep cystic type that started popping up back to back with 3 existing at a time. Blue light therapy used to work great for me, but my acne wasn't routinely cystic back then. I was freaking out because I had NEVER had acne like that before. While researching treatments I saw this one, and saw a young lady who provided before and after pics of her acne. The results looked amazing so I decided to give it a go. This absolutely works (and I had cystic acne)! The pain along my chin was gone in less than 2 days. Instead of more acne popping up - nothing, nada, zip, zilch. All of the lumps were gone and so were the ones brewing beneath the surface. I started out at level 1 and now I'm up to level 3. As others have said, it doesn't hurt at all, and in fact it feels good to me. So good, I tend to use it longer than it says (usually 10-15 min). I bought this not only for the acne treatment but also to treat fine lines (primarily the "laugh" lines on the sides of my mouth). I haven't seen improvement in that area yet, but hey it's only been a few days. I'd give it 10 stars if I could for getting rid of that painful acne. I'm also hoping that it will clear the spots left by the acne as my skin has a high propensity for hyperpigmentation (even if the acne spot doesn't come to the surface it will still leave a mark), and the marks tend to stick around for months or years, no lie. Added details: *It's a pretty long device, about 13.5" with the "mushroom" applicator in, which can make a bit awkward when trying to navigate the contours of your face, but you can switch applicators out while doing your face (just make sure you turn it off before removing or installing an applicator) *It came with an extended warranty of 12 months, which is a sweet bonus *The instructions are thorough and easy to follow *It came very well packed I plan on posting before and after pics but want to give it a little more time to see if it can tackle the lines and hyperpigmentation. In the interim - acne handled so it's a keeper!!

For high frequency devices to have any actual effect their frequency is supposed to be over 100Hz, this device is 50-60Hz. The specs are not mentioned on Amazon for this very reason. Read about required device frequency online. This device is simply not doing what it is advertised to do.

This product is not compatible with electricity supplies outside Canada and the USA. On the box it clearly states that the product should not be used with adapters. The information on the page says it runs on batteries
