Would this make a good sock for my size 10 feet?

Yes, it works perfect for me and my size 10s. I've also used it for socks for a size 12 man. As long as you knit enough rows in the for, the sock will be big enough. The loom allows you to knit socks that comfortably fit around a range of adult feet.

Would this loom make a good fit for size 7 feet?

not sure, I use mine to knit knockers, for breast cancer survivors.
