Cute doll my daughter wanted for her rainbow high doll collection

I was very pleased to get this doll for a great price. I first noticed out of the package her hair was very stiff and it looked like the hair was fried. I soaked her hair in warm water with a little shampoo. Rinsed it out then used some conditioner and used the comb she came with to gently comb her hair. It worked! It was soft and tangled free good as new. So if you get one with fried hair a little TLC is all that's needed. Her articulation is a little stiff but gently moving helps loosen it up. Even with these issues I'm satisfied with my purchase.

What can I say, I love these dolls! They are so well made with beautiful hair that styles so easily. Her hair was stiff with gel . I washed her hair twice with warm water using my shampoo. I then used a small amount of my conditioner, and let her sit for 30 minutes or so. Nothing special pantene shampoo & aussie conditioner. I'm sure any brand would do. I then rinsed thoroughly. I braided all her hair in small braids about 14 braids using bobby pins at the ends to hold in place. Putting her in her stand I left her to dry overnite. The next day I gently pulled the braids loose and trimmed the ends. I may need to trim a little more I'm not very good at trimming. Her hair is soft and full and gorgeous!

Grabbed her on sale and her box was in good condition. She suffers from bilateral stiff knee so badly that if you switched her to a unjointed body I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. My first RH doll was disappointing in quality and I bought her full priced so it was a small consolation that this one was cheaper, considering she has also followed suit in having quality issues. Her gel-stiffed out of box hair feels like normal, mass produced crunchy doll hair. Her clothes, shoes and face was done nicely. She is still super cute though, issues aside. My first star was for the points listed in my review. The other three was because she came with a matching stand and that's the best accessory any doll can have.

Again another rainbow high doll that was absolutely perfect. I love this doll. She is fully articulated and her hair is a very soft high quality nylon in honey gold blonde. Accessories are adorable and all themed according to her style. She has a little tote bag and sunglasses that match her outfit. A lot of people have said they tried to get it at places and they've gotten a lower quality version where the fashion and accessories do not match the picture. I've even heard people say they've received that from Amazon. Again mine was absolutely as pictured but I never worry about it I always try to buy items that are shipped or fulfilled by Amazon. Even though Amazon we'll help you get your issue resolved when dealing with third party sellers so I don't worry about it. If that ever happens to you one quick phone call to Amazon customer service and your issue will be resolved. I read reviews where people are very upset about something and then complained about having to keep it but they didn't call customer service. You are not harassed about the reasons and they provide free return labels.

This purchase was so disappointing for me. Let me start out by saying this is the “replacement” doll that I received after exchanging the first one for being a disaster. I really love this doll’s product images, but in person they all have defects and damage. I just cannot for the life of me understand why this doll gets so poorly handled in comparison to the others. You can take a look at the photos I included to see what I’m talking about. Her hair is a crunchy gelled mess — like more than the average doll. There’s staining and gouges on the inner knee area of BOTH legs. Her forearms and biceps are completely different colors than her body. The right hand kept popping out of the first doll and the nail polish is just not up to par on this one. Splotchy half gone blush/paint from the left side of her face??? I just cannot comprehend why these dolls specifically are passing alleged “Quality Checks”. Oh and can’t forget the main focus of this line which is for the legs to be interchangeablle… they’re interchangeable, but not without struggle. I also noticed that the legs had different strengths as far as how much force I had to use just to be able to swap them. The right leg was very easy — while the left was almost stuck together. All I can really say is either FIX Harper or take her down. I’m currently torn between returning or filing a claim/complaint with MGA directly.

So I started collecting RH dolls when I was introduced to them by a friend who is also a collector. I can’t say enough about these dolls, they are amazing! I mean I thought I loved Barbie but Barbie has taken a back seat. I’ll always love Barbie but RH is another level. I love the articulation for posing and the details they have put into these dolls are awesome. Their clothes are so well made, detailed and fun! While these dolls have a set amount of face molds and some variations on the bodies, they all are so different from each other. Their shoes and accessories are even something you can collect and so much attention detail has been given to everything. Even the shoe boxes are something to admire. So while these dolls are aimed at kids, I think if adult doll collectors gave these a chance they would love them.
