Galaxy S7/S7 edge Fast Wireless Charger, ROOROO Fast Wireless Charger Charging Station Pad for Samsung Galaxy S7,S7 Edge,Note 5(not for galaxy s8/s8 plus)

If you're purchasing this for your brand new Galaxy S8/S8+ the be warned!! Yes, yes, I know, the description clearly says S7. Something I didn't know until after purchasing this, it appears Samsung has changed something with the Wireless Fast Charging requirements. This WON'T fast charge. It's not the ROOROO's fault though. I've tried multiple fast chargers from Samsung, Anker and other brands with all the same results. Further interweb research shows that this has become a common "issue" with S8/S8+ owners. Normal wireless charging is fine with all normal charger plugs from Anker, Samsung and even the Apple square. I won't be docking this any stars as it doesn't claim to work with the S8/S8+ and the issue is a change with Samsung.With all said, I would suggest it to someone with any wireless charging phone for a nightstand charger. It holds your phone in a manner that the clock can be read (for devices with AOD) and it slowly will charge your phone overnight. Now if that has a negative effect, I'm no engineer but I don't fast charge overnight either.Shame on Samsung for making such a dramatic change. I mean, sure it's good for business as they now have a $89 wireless fast charger but cmon, really?!

Great charger, have it on my nightstand and the light is perfect that it doesn't keep you awake or bother you. Tested and works with Samsung S7 Edge and Samsung S8.For the Fast Charging (after reading some recent negative reviews), make sure you are using a wall plug that is Fast Charge capable. If you are using a USB hub, make sure one of the ports supports Fast Charge capabilities. I recently purchased  PowerBear 6 Port USB Charger with 1 Qualcomm 3.0 Port [60W] USB Hub and Charging Station with Fast Charge & Smart Charge for iPhone, iPad, Samsung, LG, HTC & More - Black [24 Month Warranty ] which has such a port and works with the fast charge capabilities of this charging stand. If you use a regular USB plug or wall charge plug, it will only charge at regular speed.

This Qi upright charging pad with fast charging does exactly what it claims and i have put it through several test and its definitely a great product. I can say that from my usage it chargers fast with your smartphones included original fast charging wall charger absolutely works flawlessly and will not over charger you device. I love how this upright charging pad has lights that indicate when your phone is charging or done charging! there not super bright so they wont interfere while your sleeping which is just a great touch! Overall I can say i really do recommend this product if you have a wireless Qi enabled smartphone! 2 thumbs up!

I believe it is going to work out OK. I am charging a Samsung S7. It will not charge properly with a basic Tumi case installed on the phone. I have another brand that works just fine with the case on.

Product description is deceptive. Just got my new Samsung S8+ today and tried this out as a charger. Even with no case on the phone, it won't deliver a steady charge. It will show charging for a second, then loses it, cycling like this over and over with the charge not going up on my phone. This was a total waste of money. If you are getting an S8, don't get this charger or you will be disappointed.UPDATE 1: Since my 1 star review, the seller has gone above and beyond to make this right. First they updated the title of the item and removed S8/S8+ from it. This will help others when looking for a wireless charger for their new phones. So thank you for that. Secondly, they issued a full refund. And finally they are sending me the correct wireless charger (RRC02B) that they say works for the new Samsung phones at their expense. This has turned into a pretty good experience. As a result, I'm changing my rating to a 4 star. Once the new charger arrives, I will test it and if it does work with my Samsung S8+, I will finalize my rating score.

Great charger! Just set the phone on it at night and it charges away. So simple, perfect.

Does NOT work with Galaxy S8+!!! The description includes the S8+ but it should not. It will not charge! And I am not a noob at wireless charging. The Choetech wireless charger works but at only about 80% capacity. This one does not work at all. It is clear that ROOROO did not actually test an S8+ and included it only because the S8+ specs for wireless charging are the same as S7 Edge (which I also have and which charges fantastically well with this wireless charger). The S8+ is TOO TALL!!! The coils do not match up. Not only should you be warned about this wireless charger but you should be certain the one you get was made for the S8+ which is one tall boy of a phone.
