Classic Dried Thai Chilis
If you've ever had a dish at an Asian restaurant that includes Thai chilis, then you should familiar with these. They have the classic flavor and classic heat. Hot, but not too hot. The side of the tongue burn lingers for a while, but not too long. Straight from the bag, the warm, welcoming aroma is there. These Thai chilis need to be soaked or cooked within the dish for a while before they show their full character, but once done, they have lots of flavor and a decent amount of heat. They're perfect in chicken and rice stir fry dishes, and are quite versatile if used in non traditional dishes. Personal tip: use some of these in a Virginia Peanut Soup to really make it sparkle. This bag of peppers is a great deal that I'd get again.Product of Thailand~ Kort

Not what I expected, but still a good value
These are Chaotian Dried Chili peppers (product of China), not Thai Chili peppers and is labeled as such on the package. The difference? Thai Chili peppers are 50,000 to 100,000 SHU. Chaotian Chili peppers are 10,000 to 50,000 SHU. There's nothing wrong with these peppers for what they are. This isn't a condemnation of the seller and I don't feel cheated. The heat level just isn't what I expected, but its still a good value.

Moderately spicy; has seeds; no stems
These Dried Red Chili Peppers are placed in a tightly packed plastic bag.I like to cut the peppers (which have seeds in them) in thin slices and put them on my meals.I did not see any stems for the peppers that I have eaten, although I do see a few tan-color strings mixed among the peppers but not attached to the peppers themselves. These peppers are moderately spicy, hot enough for me to enjoy my meal; but, not so hot that I am wincing in pain and needing to drink liquids to counter the heat. The peppers taste a bit hard when I eat them straight out of the package; if I wanted to soften them up a bit, I cook put them in as part of the ingredients of whatever it is that I am cooking. There is only 1 ingredient: chiliExpiration date is located next to the bar code. Mine expires Feb 11, 2023.Overall, I enjoy eating these dried chili peppers - packed with heat, but not so hot that it ruins the meal.

Big Bag of Hotttt Dried Peppers
These are the kind of dried hot peppers you find in asian dishes, the kind you may not want to land on your tongue or even a lip, and you push to the side of the plate and keep tabs on it. Once I had a co-worker from VietNam and she told me that these kind of peppers brought more for barter value than cash due to the ability to flavor a whole dish with one pod. They are nice and dry but not real brittle, and plenty of what looks to be viable seeds spilling out the package due to air vent holes placed in the plastic bag. I plan on carefully, with gloves on, taking some apart and making red pepper flakes with no seeds in them. The possibilities are endless--you can make hot sauces, flavor BBQ with it, pepper flakes, hot honey etc. They have a pretty dark red-purple color to them. Great flavor too. Just be careful, these are not on the level with jalapenos or even the little hot peppers sold immersed in vinegar.

3.5 oz Doesn’t sound like much but this is a lot of Thai chilis
You get a lot of peppers here, even though 3.5 oz doesn’t sound like much. I don’t know how they crammed this many in one tiny bag without damaging them much. Most are whole, they are super fragrant and flavorful and yes, hot. Thai chili is the favorite in our house, I grow it every year but didn’t get a good harvest last year, so I was looking to buy them. These are really nice big ones, we use them whole and ground. They are wonderful in any kinds of food, they add a good zing, they are spicy, much hotter then a jalapeño but not as hot as habanero, a good medium hot with loads of chili flavor, not just heat. I really like this brand, all the spices I’ve received have been fresh. Recommend

Spicy
These chilis are SPICY! There isn’t a whole lot of flavor because that is overpowered by how spicy they are, but they’re reasonably priced and they get the job done!

A LOT of Chilis
This was about twice the size of bag that I was expecting. These are dried to a kind of a rubbery consistancy ...I'm allergic to peppers, and just one sniff was enough for me.But I have family that can't get enough of that hot pepper taste. These are rated at "mild heat"Lots of peppers . ... But the bag looked different. Product looks the same.Grown in ThailandThere are some "hair" looking strings, but it is likely that these are from the drying mats, not hair.
