I am downgrading my review as the rubber backing is already starting to come away from the rug. It has never been washed or vacuumed (I shake it out). It sits beside a bed & literally gets touched step-step by bare feet when I get into bed and step-step when I get out of the bed. Other than that it is never touched, never walked on. I have no doubt when I have to wash this the backing will come off. A rug that gets so little wear should be holding up much better! I would not suggest this for any area where it will get a lot of wear or need frequent washing! It is pretty but not durable.This rug is OK, it is not the best nor the worst & is worth the price. The colors look true to what it looks like on my screen & it's soft & did not have an off putting odor. It is pretty. Pay close attention to the measurements as some of the photos where it is seen w/ a piece of furniture are misleading... or else the furniture is Barbie sized. The measurements are accurate, its just some of the illustrations are not and make it look larger than it is. I got it to go beside a bed, but it looks too small & would be better suited as a bathroom rug. I think it's too small for use in the kitchen, it would look silly in front of the kitchen sink or an appliance, but would be OK by a bathroom fixture. It does have a rubber back & stays put. Others have said it washes & wears well, but where I have it it'll get little wear.

I don't understand how others can complain about the size when the measurements are clearly stated in the title. Were they expecting wall-to-wall carpet? It's only about an inch shorter in width and length than the standard size 17 X 24 small bath mat. I knew exactly what I was ordering so I was not at all surprised or disappointed. In fact I'm very happy with the mat. It looks beautiful outside my shower stall and goes perfectly with my pink towels. It is truly non-skid, and standing on it is a dream. It is the softest bath mat I've ever felt.

The product page photos make this rug appear larger & more plush than it is in real life. Amazon offered an additional coupon bringing the cost to fourteen dollars and change. The rug is pretty pink with some floral design. That’s where the positive comments end. This rug is TINY! It is in no way, shape or form large enough to be used as a bath mat. I’m used to having a bath mat the size of half the length of an average bathtub at minimum. When I saw the tiny package at the door, I knew it was a mistake ordering this. Besides the dollhouse size, it also is not a thick pile that your feet sink into. I took it out of the little package and my fingers immediately went through to the rubber back. It’s pretty to look at but that’s about it. Truth be told it wasn’t worth more than three dollars.

got this to go in my bedroom next to the bed..so I have something to step on as I getupin the morning & also as I sit there to dress or whatever.It is pretty with the little roses on it & the color is ok in my room. it washes easily.
