These were pretty easy to install. I have my tv mounted above my fireplace so it was easier to take off tv. I have a 55”. The application is pretty straightforward. If you have a larger tv I know that you put the lights a little closer to the center of tv. Other than that pretty easy. I used gorilla black tape to just reinforce the ends that don’t have the adhesive. One thing I do have a complaint about was peeling back the paper from adhesive, it was not cut right so you could not feel where to pull off the paper backing, so what I did was use some gorilla tape and taped the paper part to pull off and separate from the sticky side, if you’re not careful you will pull the whole thing off. Just be careful. The remote is a little confusing to work but you get it after a while. Overall rear lighting and makes it easy on the eyes.

There is something about backlighting your TV that makes watching TV more immersive and fun! I have 3 Tv's and have these LED lights on all of them. I will say that the length of this set fits a 50 inch TV just right. But it's a bit of a stretch on a 65 inch. It works, but you have to shorten the square of lights, whereas on the 50 inch the lights fit corner to corner and the backlighting is more intense. I had no problem with applying the lights to the TV, but recommend cleaning with alcohol first. I also applied my own command strips at the corners. The remote works fine, but it's one of those cheaply made remotes. It does offer many color choices as well as color changing fade mode. Your biggest problem with these will be figuring out which color you like best! I am posting what some of the colors look like on my 50 inch TV. For the price, this is an excellent buy!

Nexlus has excellent customer service! I had absolutely no problem mounting the lights because it was so easy. The remote is a fabulous bonus because of all the available options to light up the area in just about any color combination, including slow and fast fade. I was getting daily information from Nexlus which proves their superior customer service. I am extremely happy with the results. I have a 65" TV and the lights for that size TV are quite ample! Thank you, Chris at Nexlus, for staying on top of my purchase! I am very impressed with your company. Nexlus sent me another kit to change out a couple strips that flickered off and on. I was so impressed with the customer service and the replacement of one of the strips did the trick and my backlighting is awesome! I am now very happy with the ambience! Post note: The sticky side of the LED strips don't seem to want to stay put so I bought some Mozilla Mounting Tape and took small strips and put them behind the LED lights every 3-4 inches and now they stay put. Love the product and the amazing customer service!

I posted a bad review for a defective remote and was contacted by the seller. My item was replaced and re-installed. At first I had the exact same problem as the first one with the lights frozen on one color and the remote not working. After a couple of days the remote started working again and now the lights work great. The problem with the remote freezing I believe is caused by pressing the buttons too fast. If you pause between button presses I think the remote will work fine. But it needs to be addressed by the seller. As for the lights themselves, they are great. Bright and colorful. Makes watching TV much better I think. I raised my review to 4 stars just because of the attention the seller gave me to resolve my issue. Lights - 4 stars Remote - 1 Star Customer Service - 5 stars

I just installed this on my TV last night and it has worked great! I've seen a lot of comments about the strips not sticking, and I think I might know what the problem may be. When first peeling off the paper from the sticky adhesive, it seemed really easy for the sticky adhesive to come up with the paper, leaving no glue on the light strips. You have to be careful when taking off the paper. If you're doing it right, the paper should come off really easily - sometimes I had to use my nails to help separate them. I found that when I was accidentally starting to take off the adhesive strip along with removing the paper, the paper was harder to pull off, but when I made sure the glue and paper were separated, leaving the adhesive behind, the paper came off easily. Other than that, they've worked great! I really like how there's a dimmer setting on the lights so I can make them brighter or dimmer based on what I want.

EDITED REVIEW (From 1 star to 5 stars!!!!!) Okay, so yesterday I was about to return this because the remote stopped functioning after about the first 10 seconds of use. Thankfully I didn't go and process the return the same day, because this morning I woke up to a personalized email from the seller (hi Chris!) who explained kindly why my remote may have stopped working. Basically, I just needed to use the right type of USB port. I bought these LEDs for the back of my PC monitor, so initially I used the USB ports that were built into my PC case. Evidently those USB ports were NOT the right ones to use. Once I switched to the ones built into my motherboard, the remote worked without a problem. It also worked perfectly with a regular phone charger USB port that connects to the wall plug. In sum: If your remote works for like the first 10 seconds and stops working, use another USB port!!! Don't be like me and jump to conclusions that the product is faulty after trying one USB port. P.S. If you are planning to stick these to the back of your PC monitor, make sure to order 10mm 4-pin connectors. You'll need to cut up these strips and peel back the rubbery top layer and the sticky bottom layer before sticking them into the connectors.
