Wireless Car Charger Auto-Clamping Air Vent Car Mount 15W Fast Charging

I needed a solution for our Mazda. If you have one, you know there aren't many good places to mount a phone without blocking access or the view of something else. One of the ideal spots is in fact right in front of the vent. I've tried vent clips before and had mixed results, mostly med or poor. But I saw the mechanism with this vent clip where you place it first, then tighten slowly until everything tightens up. The mount clip spans 3 vent slats, and the cushion / pad tightens down nicely and firmly. In the Mazda, the convenience 12v outlet is low on the passenger side, which makes it a little out of the way to go fishing for the cable each time you get in the car. With this wireless mount, no longer an issue. connected the wire and tucked it in a bit, out of the way and that's it. As far as the charging mount itself, well, I picked it for it's low profile design, and clean lines, and it doesn't disappoint. Looks great, quite stable, rotates to landscape and back as needed, no problem. The mechanism itself does it's job. I've had automatic clamping mounts before, and thought they were a little slow. Not this one, this closes almost instantly, and releases when you push the button. You can push the button on either side. Once you get used to the button's location, pressing it just becomes part of your natural motion to grab the phone. I was also worried about how difficult it would be to remove the phone after turning off the car (no power). This would have been a deal breaker for me, but thankfully not an issue- the mechanism retains some power and operates normally even when the car is off. Must be a battery in there. I don't know for how long or how many times it will open and close without being plugged in, but I did it 4 times, which is 3 more than I've needed since. Finally, I used the included USB-c cable to connect the mount, and I get Fast Wireless Charging each time I place my Samsung S23, with its fairly sturdy (2mm thick) case, in the mount. So- after about two weeks of daily use- I realized I love this charging mount, so much so that I decided to take some pics and write a review. Highly recommend.

Of all the vent clip phone mounts I've owned, this has probably been the best. I have an iPhone 16 Pro, and this fits it perfectly. I also like how the clip actually hooks AROUND the back of the vent slat, so it's not as flimsy as other models that just clamp onto the slat. I've had many other mounts that would fall off constantly because they just clamped onto the vent slat. After I installed this several months ago, it hasn't budged. My phone also has never fallen out of the mount. It charges at a good rate and is very easy to use. It's also super sleek, retracting in on itself after you turn off the car. I'd definitely buy another one the next time I upgrade my phone.

Works very well! I'm impressed. It mounts securely, grabs the phone and charges the phone perfectly. Little buttons on the side make removing the phone a breeze also. The only open-ended question is longevity. We'll see how it does!

I bought this same car charger holder about three years ago and have really liked how well it holds my phone while also charging it wirelessly. My wife needed one for a trip she was taking for a few weeks, so I gave her my old one and ordered this newer version. The new one attaches to the air vent differently, and I actually find it even more secure than the older model. The only downside is that the new attachment design limits how much I can tilt the phone toward me. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

This car charger/stand holder works as expected and charges fast charging. It attaches to the vent and is easy to tighten in place.

Easy to install and use. Looks good in car and love that you can set your phone in with one hand and it closes around it automatically. Good quality and very compatible with our iPhones. Great that it charges phone while driving also.

This is amazingly good. The clip that holds it to the grill is a simple hook that tightens and locks simply. It positions well with a ball joint that also locks in place. When powered, the buttons open and close to lock the phone in solidly. The inductive charging works well. In short, everything works simply and well. I haven't had it long enough to address durability, but it doesn't have any obvious shortcomings at all. For $20 it's amazing.

I like the holder and it looked like it would have worked for me. However the buttons that are supposed to open the clamp are not working. I sent an email to the manufacturer and got no response back in a 24 hr time frame. That’s probably what irritates me the most. Just have to return it as defective and deal with the hassle of getting it replaced. Update to my previous review. Once I got the replacement from Amazon it works as advertised. It fits well in the air vents and holds the phone stable. The charging and opening/closing functions work well. The auto open on power being applied is a nice feature and the auto closing when the phone is placed works well. The manufacturer did finally get back to me after I went through Amazon.
