can you use this product with oak chips together?

I would recommend you oak your wine first and then do bench trials to determine how much Mocha Liquid Oak tannin to add just before bottling. When you use this product give it at least a day to develop in the wine otherwise you can add too much.

Can you use this as a "replacement" for the oak chips?

I would not use this tannin adjustment as a replacement for oak chips or barrel aging. This liquid gives you added tannins, it does not give a rounded mellow flavor that develops with aging. It is best to age a wine in an oak barrel a couple to three years for full mellow mouthfeel and flavor and soft tannins. If you do not have a barrel, use your oak chips to at least get some oak into your wine.
