I've been using the FCL 2% Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash for a few weeks now, primarily to tackle my nightly makeup removal routine and to manage my oily skin. One of the things I immediately appreciated about this product is how efficiently it removes makeup. It manages to cleanse thoroughly without leaving any residue, which is a big plus for anyone who wears makeup regularly. The face wash comes in a foam form right out of the bottle, which I find particularly convenient and pleasant to use. It spreads easily across the face, ensuring that you don't need to use a lot to get effective coverage, making the application process smooth and quick. In terms of its impact on my oily skin, this product has been quite effective. It doesn't just clean; it also seems to regulate oil production without drying out my skin, which is a delicate balance to achieve. The non-drying, soap-free formula is gentle, and I haven't experienced any tightness or discomfort after use, which sometimes occurs with other strong cleansers. However, while the product is generally great, I did notice that it's scented with vanilla. While the scent is not overpowering, those who prefer unscented skincare products might find it notable. Additionally, although it's effective at removing makeup and controlling oil, those with very sensitive skin might want to patch test first due to the active ingredients intended to exfoliate and unclog pores.

This is a gel-like face wash that cleans very well, and is ok for sensitive skin. The scent is a bit like medicated smell, but it's tolerable. I think this cleans very well and leaves skin feeling smooth textured and undried feeling. It does wash off the excess oils and dead skin cells because I feel my skin is very smooth now. I don't know how well it would help with acne because I don't have acne problems, but I like how it is gel like with a pump bottle, which requires only a little bit to clean a whole face. This bottle is great value for money, because it will last a long time.

I’m not a huge fan of the smell of tea tree oil and this stuff has a good smell of it (but I know it’s good for the skin). It also smells like some other chemical very slightly. BUT, this was super gentle on my skin. I had to pump 4x for a slight lather, but it wasn’t overbearing with suds and was very gentle in my eye area. When dried, my skin felt very clean, but it did feel a little dry. I’m going to keep it going as I have very slight acne and think the peroxide in this will be a big help. Over all, the wash has been decent.
