The mask is good quality, a little small for my face but it looks good.

Comfortable Great for Stays in Place

Great product, it looks awesome!...and great service too....the mask was a little too wide for my face -- when I strapped it on it stuck out on the sides. I could stretch it back with the ribbons and use the force to pull in the sides and thus make it fit better against the sides of my face. However, that was a bit uncomfortable, and not ideal. Further, because the ribbon connection point on the mask (on right side) was lower than my right ear, the ribbon had to run up over my ear before going back to meet the other ribbon and be tied in the back...so that routing of the ribbon caused the mask to ride up when it was tied on snugly, and caused the eye-hole to not align perfectly with my eye. Bummer. SO, I contacted the company using contact info on the invoice I received and asked them if they thought I could easily modify the mask. I told them I wondered what the mask was made of and whether I could possibly use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm it up and bend it inward slightly. They said the mask is made of plastic and said that a hair dryer MIGHT work. I told them I'd accept full responsibility for any goofups...and that I was going to try. Anyway, I tried it and it worked perfectly....I warmed it up in the areas where I wanted to bend it, and was able to bend the mask in slightly and then held it there until it cooled. I then used some hot glue to move the mounting point for the ribbon on that side....now it's perfect! Wearing it for a big Gala masquerade ball tomorrow night!

PROs: -well made -beter aesthetic than other similar masks - edges were rounded and comfortable to touch CONs: - ties originate at different heights resulting in a diagonal line across the back of the head that criss-crosses one of the ears and does not hold the mask in place - relatively heavy for the satin ties - inflexible so unless you have classical features of roman or greek statues that match it, it is simply uncomfortable to wear. Also, if you wear size small hat (=small face or narrow face) this mask will be too big. Instead i bought EmazingLights Hip Hop Dance Adult Costume Mask 2.0 (It was much! much! lighter, and it had a sturdy 1 inch wide elastic, adjustable band and a forehead sponge for comfort) and i cut it with kitchen scissors to the shape of the Phantom of the Opera. To be fair the EmazingLights mask was made of a thin plastic without the great details of this Luxury Mask Men's Phantom Of The Opera Masquerade Mask Vintage Design that i am reviewing, but it fit me better.

looks very nice, but it didn't fit my face very well and was quite uncomfortable. it's a great mask overall; just not great for my face shape (ᵕ᷄≀ ̠ᵕ᷅ )

Pretty mask

I was very surprised and relieved to discover that this mask fit my face very well! As I was surprised about how shiny it was! It's shine made it look even better than it did in the photo, and I expect that most of their other masks similar to this one with its special designs would have a similar appearance. I would definitely get another mask by this company. Like others say in their reviews, the ribbon is a nice touch, but could be replaced for something more comfortable and easy to put on, but it did fit well nonetheless. I recently put it on again and it did feel a little off, but it may be because I tied it awkwardly in the back. The one thing I noticed the most that would be uncomfortable would be that my right nostril was almost pressed completely closed but I didn't mind since I could breath through my left no problem. In the end, I would definitely get another mask!

This mask was perfect. Son used for his masquerade prom. Colors went perfectly for their theme colors. It was light and comfortable for him. It was a great price, and after a night of prom it was still looking great, so I would say it’s very durable. And he said it stayed in place just fine

Item received scratched/scuffed likely because it was sent in a bag, not a box. Quality is alright but not $38 good. It is a bit better quality than the kind of mask you would get at Walmart. Globs of paint, hot glue bits everywhere, etc. There is even some random purple glitter glue on the edge of the mask. Cracks look good but the gold paint was probably applied by a zoo monkey.

Just perfect, great quality and details

Die Maske gefällt mir sehr, ist sie doch qualitativ sehr hochwertig gebaut. Für mich ist sie leider ein klein wenig zu gross. Das kann aber mit dem festen Anziehen des Bandes gut korrigiert werden.

I got this traditional style Venetian masquerade half-mask (the blue/gold one) for a themed party and was super pleased with it - it's brilliant quality, solid and has a very good finish on all the detail. It's a step up in quality to a few similar masks I've tried and definitely worth spending extra on compared to cheaper ones. It sat perfectly comfortably for me, held in place securely with the nose rest and tie-up black silk ribbon strap. I didn't really have to adjust it much at all, only if I'd been jumping around a lot etc and it was reasonably comfortable - after the first hour or so I started to feel it more, but then it passed as I got used to it and virtually forgot I was wearing it (alcohol may have helped with this). Got lots of good comments about it and will happily wear again in the future!
