I bought this for my husband who (like most men of a certain age) has moved from the “older man with distinguished grey hair” stage to the “old man, full stop” stage. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the new look but he is less than happy!! So I decided to see if I could help. The bottle is easy to squeeze (not sure why another reviewer found it difficult) and easy to apply. Whilst they don’t recommend gloves (just as well otherwise you would have lost my husband at this stage), I would recommend their advice not to use your fingertips to rub it in as it can stain the nails slightly. On this note, my husband did drip a bit onto my waiting whites wash and I did end up with a brown stain on the white bedding (nice!) but this cane out in the second wash. Therefore be careful around clothing or white bath mats etc. It builds up over use and they recommend using until you get to the desired hair colour and then just maintain with the occasional wash. However, we decided this would be too obvious going from grey to brown so my husband uses it once a week and this has built up to the level we wanted over a month without being noticeably different to others. Excellent result in that we are both happy with the colour. The shampoo itself has no smell and cleans the hair well. Only negative is that you need quite a bit as it doesn’t lather at all. Good value for money as we only use it once a week, this would obviously be different if you were using it more regularly. This is the third bottle we’ve purchased so deserves 5 stars.

I’ve been using this product now for nearly two years after realising that my greying hair was making me look older than I feel! I didn’t want a black obvious “all over dye” so thought I’d give this a go. It took 3/4 weeks of shampooing 3 times a week before I noticed a difference. It’s subtle but noticeable. Work colleagues haven’t realised it’s dyed and have commented how I’m looking younger! I now do it 2 times a week to maintain. Colour at the sides is still quite grey but this is likely because I have my hair cut every 3 weeks and the sides are shaved to a 1 grade. Top is dark with a few grey hairs and blends brilliantly. Only giving 4 stars as you have to be careful to clean your hands and the shower area to avoid blackening on tiles or nails. You also have to linger in the shower for 3 mi s to allow it to work. Overall I would suggest go for it..,you won’t regret it and you will feel and look better! P.s. the shampoo is great quality and also makes your hair feel smooth and clean.

Used periodically this is a good alternative to box dyes

I tried this shampoo on my dark brown hair, and while it did darken things slightly, the results were mixed. It seems to work best on hairs that are just starting to lose pigment, those lighter brown or slightly orangey strands did return to a darker shade after a few uses. However, fully white hairs didn’t change at all, so for those you’d still need a proper dye. Overall, it’s not fully what I expected...there is some effect, but it’s subtle. Considering the price, I’d probably go for a different option next time.

I've always thought products like this were a gimmic, but given the modest outlay I thought I'd give it a go. What can I say, it's absolutely brilliant. My hair had turned almosy entirely silver, but this shampoo has taken my hair back 10 years. Best part is that no one has mentioned it, other to say I look really well. The transformation is gradual, although I could see a change from wash 1. I've been using it maybe 3 times a week for the last 6 weeks and it's been revolutionary. The instrauctions say to wash it out after 1-2 mins, but I leave it on for about 4 mins. Really pleased with this purchase and will continue to use going forward.

It’s rubbish. They’ve basically mixed a bit of hair dye into a shampoo, so it gradually dyes your hair while also causing hair loss, hair breakage, and dryness. I bought three and now I have to throw two of them away. You also need to wear gloves every time you use it.

Not a bad product, definitely more subtle than other products which make sit less obvious. As others have said change in product formula is not as good as previously - but I do prefer this as a shampoo option, leaves minimal of any stains.

İyi çalkalamak lazım boya ve şampuan homojen değil.. saç uzunken çok dayanmıyor şişe ama kısa saçta çok uzun gidiyor..
