The safety feature is the most appealing and useful thing for this Mandoline. However, sturdiness is an issue. This can only be used to cut soft vegetables like celery and the like.I broke mine cutting peeled ginger.

Not more to day. Julian part doesn't work well. Slicer works just fine.

Unless I’m not using this right but it does not shred carrots. The main reason I bought it was for this purpose. It cut my carrot in diced it up or sliced it. But it did not shred or cut them lengthwise. I even cut the carrot three ways to put it in the slot lengthwise, but it did not work. I’m very dissapointed. Because other people said they shred there’s. Unless their fake reviews or I’m not using it right. The only good thing I can say is, it does slice sweet potatoes nicely. It’s easy to clean.

It was easy to use the only thing I was a little disappointed in was the way it cuz the French fries unless I was doing it wrong, wish they would of cut a little thicker and longer. 🤷‍♀️

This chopper was extremely easy to use and clean up I sliced 6 potatoes and they were thin and perfectly sized. Because of that they cooked evenly in my scalloped potatoes. I can’t wait to try other things! My only drawback is the container to catch the food is a little too small. I had to dump the potatoes after each one I sliced. I still do love it though and have already talked my daughter into buying one!

The only thing you can really slice with this is carrots and cucumbers. The hole is way too narrow To slice onions or potatoes. The whole reason I got it was For slicing Potatoes to make potato chips and Even the smallest potato won't Fit in the narrow opening.
