Full of great information for the beginning yogurt maker and wonderful recipes for experienced makers. From starters to finishers all the way through it's even a good read.

Great book!
Purchased this book looking for a couple recipes on how to make yogurt. Well so far it is much more then I expected, tried a couple of recipes for making yogurt and they have turned out better then expected. And the book goes on with lots of recipes to use your fresh made yogurt. So if your a yogurt fan gotten try out this book.

Not quite what the title suggests
This is a good book, don't get me wrong, but I was looking for a book on making yogurt, not recipes for using yogurt. The title suggests this would be 'everything there is to know about yogurt' and there isn't even a substantial trouble-shooting section. In fact, the chapter on making yogurt is barely a few pages and the rest of the book is dedicated to recipes. I'm keeping it, but I really think the title is misleading.

Making yogurt is easy!!
My family is enjoying the homemade yogurt! The recipes are easy to follow and delicious. The book also includes healthy guidelines for taking care of the systems of our bodies.

A good book, overambitious title, 100 completely extraneous pages.
Most buyers will find this a good and useful book, but prospective purchasers should understand a few things. It has a 100 page section -- a third of the book! -- which has absolutely nothing to do with yogurt. The author gives only cursory treatment to the variety of available yogurt cultures and completely fails to mention room temperature cultures. Cultured dairy products made with these can't be sold commercially as "yogurt" in the US due to government regulation, but any book which claims to be a "Bible" for home use surely should mention them, as well as contain a more in-depth exploration of various bacteria and the characteristic results of these different bacteria as a general topic. Furthermore, you will find only a dismissal of non-dairy yogurts as "not worth the effort", so if you are looking for non-dairy alternatives, this book might be a poor investment.

yogurt bible and everything else
This book has everything you need to know about making yogurt and great tips added too. The extra sections related to body systems and whole foods have so much information. Originally I took this book out of the library but knew I had to have my own copy. If you like yogurt and if you want to eat healthy this is the book for you.

Eh...
Honestly, I didn't get very much use out of this book. The yogurt making venture (for me) was a complete mess, ending up with a product that tasted WAY to tart. Turns out, I'm somewhat dairy intolerant anyway. Nothing against this book; again, I just didn't have much use for it.

This is a beautiful book
After reading some mixed views about this book - I was regretting a little my seemingly hasty decision to buy - BUT - I am truly delighted with my purchase & highly recommend it - it is of good quality & easily read - you get far more for your money than just a few recipes - it was bought as a present but intend to buy again for myself when it comes back into stock

Slightly misleading title - not so much about yogurt
It is a good book with lots of recipes, but it has only few recipes for how to make yogurt. Maybe, my fault for not researching more before buying it.
