I am buying this for a vacation we are taking this summer. I am so nervous about my kids opening the door to go to the pool, when we aren’t around. I have read so many reviews, and people LOVE this door lock! It’s easy to use and you can use it anywhere. Excited to try, and have for all the other vacations we go on. This will allow me to sleep well at night, and not worry!

I love this door jammer. It is easy to use and holds in all flooring materials. I look forward to using it on my next trip. After trying it, I reordered several more and gave them away. My daughter is a traveling nurse and stays in hotels frequently. This will provide extra security for her and peace of mind for me.I had previously bought the door jammer that fits in the lock. I looked at the pictures, but didn’t read the instructions. I tried it on our bedroom door to see how it worked. The door fit too tightly in the frame. (Great for our home , but not the door jammer!) My husband had to take the door off to dislodge the unit.

I didn't buy this for any security reasons. I bought this so I could use resistance bands on my inward swinging door. The last thing I want is for the door to pop open and get smacked by the largest rubber band known to man. I did pull on the door to see how sturdy it was and my door did not come open nor did the rubber stop piece slide or move on my hardwood floor. But I made sure to clean the spot on the floor first so that may have helped.
