**Q: What is the max weight it can hold?**
A: Others like this one say they can hold 800 lbs. I believe this one can too it is a sturdy cot and it held me fine for a week and I'm 300 lbs.

**Q: Is it just an upgrade for the color or the thickness of the pad as well?**
A: There is just one thickness of the pad and they have multiple colors and the pads are 2 sided. One side of the pad is navy blue and the other is light gray. We have washed them multiple times and they have held up. The pads also have elastic bands on all the corners so they don't slide off of the cot.

**Q: Does the head rest go down, to make it completely flat?**
A: Does not go completely down

The cot is surprisingly comfortable. The first few tries opening, it will not stay open. When it finally locks open, it's very sturdy. Comes with a thin mattress filled with lightweight polyester. The stuffing is already balling up. But, it's under two thick comforters for extra padding. If you want a comfortable cot, this one is great. Just expect the mattress to be really cheap.
