Dissapointed
Ok first, I expected a more professional copy. This looks like it was typed out on Word using extra large font to make it more appealing. Second, over half the book is filled with a random authors work rather than Poe's, like I expected. Definitely returning.

School project
Good read and it was great to write an essay about it as well. A school project for my son.

A classic tale of gothic horror
Although short, this is a awesome story of darkest horror. The claustrophobic descent into madness of the unnamed main character is described in psychotic detail. A must read for any fan of gothic horror and of course, the the master of the craft, Poe.

Better than the teen & younger versions.
Watched a play of this when younger and loved it. Memorized what I thought was a lot of it in those years. Seeing the real version, gives a new perspective. Same story, but more emotion.

I read it to my family during a power outage on Halloween night. It was perfect! As I read the last sentence of the story, the lights came on. Amazing.

Bizarre
What on earth is this doing on Amazon? It's like some kid's school craft project

Brilliant!
Very good to read such a great story! Poe was a genius at describing mental health and I will read more!

"Villains", I shrieked, "Dissemble no more!"
A better fitting motto cannot be found for this cheeky fraud. This non-edited computer-written copy of Poe's short story is anything but a graphic novel (as which it is offered in Amazon, possibly because of the glaring, gory cover), and the few illustrations are taken from non-copyrighted domains without references. Amazin' that this comes with an ISBN, but at the end of the day it's literally a "scandal from Bohemia", to paraphrase another famous murder-mystery writer following in Poe's footsteps, the print having been produced in Poland.
