Head and Shoulders Anti Dandruff Clinical Strength, Seborrheic Dermatitis Shampoo, 3.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

I bought this 10 months ago. From day 1, I noticed a difference! My scalp felt clean. For years, I used to use regular (white bottles) of head and shoulders ...but they would all strip the dye out if my hair. So I stopped using. My scalp used to be so unmanageable. Itching,stinging, aching, scabbing. I have dark hair,so it was very tough to hide! It was embarrassing! 😩 After my showers, I would use a fine toothed comb ( for over an hour) just to scrape the excess dead skin( while soft) off my scalp,just so nobody could see it flaking off once dry. It was horrible! Scalps are sensitive,and mine would iften bleed a little, leaving me with scabs from scraping so hard with the comb. UNTIL, I TRIED THIS!! It has been the ONLY shampoo that has worked! The older bottles would work temporarily,but strip color and the flaking always returned. THIS has worked since the first wash! I have not seen 1 flake in 10 months! And I have struggled with dandruff / seborrheic dermatitis for over 30 years! My scalp still itches a little bit,but THE FLAKES ARE GONE!! This stuff truly works!! As silly as it may sound to some,my quality of life is so much better! For anyone who struggles with this, please give it a try!!

Does mostly what I'd hoped! I had some pretty bad dry/flaky skin that followed my hairline above my forehead, and was also present under/around my sideburns. After about 2 weeks of using this shampoo (6-8 uses), those problem areas had disappeared, and have stayed gone as I've continued to use it. However, I had two other problem areas with flaky skin that this shampoo has not helped - my forehead, and eyebrows. I'd found reviews of this product and others where people discussed rubbing the shampoo into their eyebrows and other flaky areas but I've personally not had any success doing that. After further research, I discovered that not all skin on your body is the same... The ingredients in this product and others like it are specifically designed for your hair and skin on the scalp, and skin on other places like your forehead and eyebrows don't react and/or absorb those necessary ingredients the same way the scalp does, hence it not being as effective (for everyone). With that said, this product worked 100% for my dry/flaky scalp, hairline and sideburns but not the forehead or eyebrows. I'll have to find something else for those areas... Also, the smell is not as bad as some make it out to be. It definitely isn't your typical flowery, fruity smelling shampoo but it's not bad. Not sure why Head and Shoulders couldn't make it smell fruity though... Either way, 5/5 stars!

Head & Shoulders is a shampoo that does the job without you having to break the bank. That’s honestly one of the things I love about it. This is an awesome deal because you get two shampoos for a great price, and it leaves your hair clean and dandruff free. The scent is cool. Overall, it’s a pretty darn good product.

Alright, I have suffered with dandruff nearly my whole life so let me just cut out the epic personal storytelling that got me to try this product and simply say: It works a level above normal Head and Shoulders. I have bouts of seborrheic dermatitis and this keeps it in check so long as I use it. However, this product isn't without flaws. Like most Head and Shoulders it has that smell that everyone recognizes and that smell lingers in your hair for quite some time, it can be tricky to mask but with a good conditioner it's not a problem. Another problem (these problems are of course my own, you may not have them) is that it dries my hair and frizzes it to an extreme level. Again, a good conditioner will take care of this but it's important to monitor your hair health as leaving this in too long or using it every day or even multiple times a day could be doing a hefty number on your hair. If you're a user of Selsun Blue but want to try something else I'd recommend this to you. Clinical strength means exactly what it claims to be.

What a relief! I have severe seborrheic dermatitis, not dandruff. I let it go about a week longer than I should have. It's my first time with this condition, so I didn't recognize it right away. Anyway, I used this shampoo twice now, two days apart, and I can already feel a big difference. All of my head bumps are greatly reduced - most of them are already gone. The itching has been reduced by at least half. At this rate, I look forward to completely eliminating my problem within the next week or two. I was actually going to wait until that time to submit my review. But, after only two uses, I am so convinced this was the right move for me, I wanted to get that information out there as soon as possible. Just so you know, their "Clinical Solutions" formulas are a LOT more expensive per ounce, and have the exact same 1% concentrate of the ONLY active ingredient - selenium sulphide - that this product has. You decide which is right for you. Personally, I belive that whole line is for people who insist to spend the most to get "the best." In this case, this "Clinical Strength" formula is all you really need.

Me impresiono la rapidez con que pude controlar mi problema, que era muy severo, en una semana vi los resultados, lo utilize dos veces por dia la primer semana, despues solo una vez al dia por otra semana y por ultimo solo cada 3 dias. Lo bueno es que solo se necesita muy poco shampoo en cada aplicacion, ya que hace mucha espuma y en realidad solo hay que aplicarlo a la cabeza y no a todo el pelo. Si es cierto que tiene un olor peculiar, muy ligero, como a medicina, pero solo lo note los primeros 2 dias que lo use, sera que me acostumbre o que ahora que lo utilizo con menos frecuencia ya no es perceptible. Definitivamente lo recomiendo, y espero que sigan fabricando este shampoo.
