Runs big
Definitely runs big. My daughter's measurements had her in between sizes. I ordered a medium.Does not look exactly like the photos but is still cute overall. Will need a petticoat to add volume to the skirt

Actually not bad for a tomboyish lolita outfit
Okay, weird tagline but I've always been more of a tomboy and I don't always like feminine clothes because of some of my own body image insecurities. That fluff out of the way, I really liked the style from first glance with its Victorian and kind of militaristic look (Disclaimer: You probably should not substitute this outfit for any official uniforms if you are in any form of military.) It's something that would pair up well with tights and combat styled boots (heel or no heel is up to you, so long as the shaft is fitted close to the leg) and complete the look with one of my favorites, a cabbie hat. Some things that took me by surprise:The material. I find it funny how the photos look like it's a wool or heavier fabric that's stuff enough to hold form boosted by petticoats, but it's actually not that (probably would have shot the cost up). It has some stretch but I wouldn't press your luck, and to assuage any additional fears, it's not that god awful fabric used for children's Halloween costumes Walmart sells and it's not "windbreaker" nylon. It doesn't feel like it breathes that great so you'd get the most comfort out of it during fall, winter, and early spring. The fit. Most people recommend ordering one size down because it runs larger than what you normally get. I'm the person who has to order costumes and other cosplay goods according to my bust size and height and a large lined up with my measurements. Top fits PERFECTLY, skirts will need some petticoats to get the volume shown in the picture. There's also a bit of a corset back to help tighten the fit, but if you need to add a dart yourself it's absolutely feasible.Washing and care recommendations:I wouldn't slack on this aspect if you want to keep it looking nice. Start by washing it by hand or on a delicates cycle in cool water before going straight to "wash it like any dark clothes you have" to see how it fares, but always dry it by hanging it up and keep that iron away from it (unless you want to try a low heat setting, but proceed with caution; I'm too anxious to try that) and of course hand wash the decorations.Definitely try it out if you like a more tomboyish style to your lolita getup, worth the money.

Our daughter loved!
It looks pretty! Needs a crinoline to wear with it and her sleeves were way to long! But an easy fix. She will love it when we puff out! A fun outfit!

It’s a little too big but nothing a few darts in the back won’t fix.
The details were perfect and got the approval of my teenage daughter who is into the Lolita/Goth/Cosplay clothing right now. She even wore it to school when they had a non-uniform dress day.
