Works well, hard to setup
Needs at least 2 people to setup, and having to fill the bags with sand (dirt in my case) is a drag, but is works as advertised and held up to 40 mph winds. I used with my Rightline truck tent (not really what it is intended for) but it worked for me.

Horrible Product. Returning
I purchased this as an alternative to a standard pop up tent thinking it would be easier to assemble, smaller and more compact to keep in the vehicle, and more stable once it was up since it attaches to the vehicle. It was horrible to assemble and kept falling over so I never got it to actually work. I think if you have at least two or three people, you may be able to get this to work but, by myself, I decided to give up and put it away and that's when the real problems started. The poles would not come out of the tent and kept getting caught. Two of them snapped and fell apart with pieces going everywhere. I am buying a standard pop up tent because at least I know it will be stable and work correctly even if it takes up more room in my vehicle.

Works well with Rightline Truckbed Tent
My husband and I were wanting to get a canopy to go with our truck bed tent we bought last year and we loved this brand as their tent was really good quality so we decided to try their canopy as well. This is advertised for tailgating and I saw that they said it does not work with the Truckbed tent, but we got it to work well! We lost some feet off the back of the canopy (where we will sit), but it completely covers the top of the tent so we don’t need to use a rain fly on the top. So far we have only set in up in front of our house, but we are excited to use it this summer!

Decent for tailgating
The product is decent for tailgating, but set up does take time

It does what I had hoped
I had hoped to use this as a shade canopy over the bed of the truck - for use at dog events. It does work pretty well in that configuration. I will add guy lines to the front pole pockets although it is pretty secure with just the rear straps in place. I will say that I have put up more than a few tents in my day, but getting these poles in their pockets is a bit of a wrestling match. Made worse by not having a loop or anything to grab at the corner to hold the pocket. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes to wrestle the thing together if you are aggressively determined to get the poles in the pockets (and it's not real pretty)

Well made
Difficult for one person to assemble and set up for tailgate.

CAN'T HANDLE ANY WIND!
Do not buy unless you plan to use this in a parking lot with no wind! We took it to the beach with our truck. Not only did it take over 20 min to set up as there are so many parts, but then it didn't last for more than 3 min, if even that. And it wasn't very windy. Our beach umbrellas didn't fly away but this thing leaned to the side like it was going to take off. Not worth the money.

Life saver
My husband is a mobile mechanic and we ordered this for him to use while out on jobs! We live in Texas…it’s hot….this tent works great for what he needs, to give him shade while working on vehicles in the Texas sun!

Not designed for the wind, but good.
First off, the awning itself is a lightweight material. The sleeves for the fibreglass poles are quite snug with much less play than a sleeve on a nylon tent. My biggest issue I had with this was there are no guy ropes from the outermost corners down to the groumd to prevent it from blowing all over the place in the wind. Luckily I had some extra light rope with me out in the mountains to add to the corners. Lastly, the only instruction sheet that came with it (stitched into the bag) was in french. As you can see in my picture compared to the listing photos, I had one of the sets of straps wrong. But once it was up, it held in place over night with a gentle wind.
