AUTOXBERT 38cm/15 Inch Leather Steering Wheel Cover Stitch On Wrap, Breathable, Anti-Slip Steering Wheel Cover for Nissan Qashqai Toyota Camry RAV4 VW Golf

Installed this steering wheel cover in my 2015 Mustang. It took me about three hours over a couple of days (had some interruptions). I had plenty of thread with about three feet left over from one of the two bundles of thread. The extra allowed me to separately stitch and tighten the material around two the the three steering wheel spokes. If the spokes were smaller the cover would look better. I like the feel of the cover so far and it adds just a bit to the diameter of the steering wheel which I also like. The slip on covers that you don’t have to lace are too big in my opinion. I looked online at videos and found what seemed to be the most common stitching method. It was fairly simple. Just had to remember to go from outside the wheel to the inside on each loop. I did get it wrapped around the wheel a couple of times when first starting out. I did find that o could run about ten or twelve stitches and then go back over what I had just done and tighten each stitch a little more pretty much closing the gap. I initially just ran the thread under the cover on the backside of the two wheel spokes. However after I was done I didn’t like the look. I ended up cutting the thread on the backside of the spokes and started a new stitch and working away from the spoke, removing previous stitching as needed. I was able to secure the ends in a knot keeping it taught. Only time will tell for the quality of the leather cover and its overall durability. It’s a lot softer to the touch and more comfortable than the stock plastic-feeling steering wheel. It was an easy installation that just took time to lace it up, keep it straight and tight.

I absolutely loved this cover. Easy to install made from high quality leather warm to the touch very functional.. gives your car a new feel. The stitching looks awesome.. not easy to rip .. very durable. I recommend ordering a slightly smaller size than your steering wheel so it stretches on snd isn’t too loose

It was tough to put on but pretty when finished. Only downside is that it only lasted 2 years before starting to peel and disintegrate.

It's not OEM factory, but just installed January 2026, on a jeep Wrangler 2005, makes a HUGE improvement. I haven't gone driving with it yet, but it the steering wheel looks WAY better than before. And feels better too.

This is not real leather. I have had this on my steering wheel for a while now, but I rarely drive this car. It’s a Toyota MR2 that I have rebuilt. The “leather” has separated from its bonding at the point where I spin the steering wheel. It is the worst looking part of my nearly 35 year old car! I do not recommend. Save your money.

Excellent, good, pretty, and cheap. It fits my Xterra perfectly. It feels and looks great.

Overall, I like the feel of the product. The stitching was already loose when I started. So I had to make some adjustments to get it to work if the stitching had been complete. Feels great and fits my nissan perfectly even with the flat bottom of the wheel. I have done one of these ages ago on my old car. I don't weave between the stitching. I loop back through the holes themselves. It seems too narrow at first but you have to tighten as you go. This took me like 2-3 hours in the dark after work. I definetly could do it in half the time it i ever did it again.

great fit, not too tight on a fiat panda (04) steering wheel. did not sew through the stitching but used blunt leather needles and sewed through the holes on the edge of the cover. used two needles, thread cord and put through 2 adjacent holes from the outside in, carry on round the wheel and pull tight and tie off when you get to a spoke( an assistants finger helps, like tying a bow) sew through the holes past the spoke , outside to in on the first pair of holes and pull tight and tie off, carry on sewing like this all the way round. pull tight til the edges nearly meet and the thread makes a very good seam and excellent grip on the cover. looks great and the grip is improved no end, perfect for older cars. sewing like this is a lot harder than some covers state but the end result is more professional and less likely to go wrong. just take your time and it does work.

Fits really well, takes about 1-2 hrs to thread on depending on your thread and needle skill… I learned to thread the needle into the outer loop then straight through the inner loop (then pull the string all the way to tighten) : think about it like threading ur shoe laces, and dont pull it too ahrd otherwise it could snap, however the leather is really strong! Great product I love it! Very slim material and a snug fit onto the original steering wheel- a lot better than buying a cover from auto stores that cost triple the price and are thick and looks worse. Installed this on a 2022 Lexus RC, and the red stitching matches the car’s red interior really well. The Australian sun can be hard on steering wheels, so we wanted a sacrificial cover. The kit includes plenty of thread, and the cover fits tightly once in place. Installation is a bit time-consuming at around 1.5 hours, but the result looks clean and factory-like. Overall, we’re very happy with the finish and feel of the material. We recommend it to anyone wanting to protect their OEM wheel.

Instructions could be better BUT it was easy to fit, looks great an feels surprisingly quality in the hand, the leather is soft, supple and strong 💪
