TL;DR (Too, Long; Didn't Read) Version Bought as a late night munchy treat. The good - The candy comes in a plastic resealable box as well as a small white prong to pick-up the sour belts. - They truly taste like the original sour strips from childhood. The flavor is similar to Sweet Factory at the mall. - Perfect portion sizes and all the strips are proportioned in equal length and width. - The price per pound for the sour strips is equivalent to 13 cents per sour strip. Brick and mortar stores are 5 to 10 times more. - Overall, fantastic flavor. It has the right combination of strawberry flavor combined with the right ratio of sweetness and sourness. The bad - None! Overall, is it worth it? Definitely for the price and the quantity you get. TS; WM (Too, short; Want, More) Version Got cravings for some delicious candy that combines the sweetness of a gummy and a punch in the face sourness that will make your mouth squirm for joy? Then maybe these sour strips are for you! These sour strips are truly a blast from the past from the late 90's when Sweet Factory candy stores sold them in many of the shopping retail stores around the United States. They come in a variety of different flavors (watermelon, apple, etc.), but we chose the original strawberry. The product comes in a clear plastic rectangular box and is resealable with a latch in the corner for easy access. It comes with a small white prong that allows you to pick-up the sour strips without getting your fingers dirty or messy from grabbing the strips and leaving sugar and salt residue (but honestly that is the best part!). Who doesn't lick their fingers with delight after finishing off a sour strip?! Grabbing these strips with the prong reminds us of grabbing caviar from a small can; It was very refined and a nice touch overall. The strips honestly taste like childhood. They have the right chewy consistency and sour flavor that makes it a sour strip; not too sour and not too sweet. Some strips are either too tough (like the ones at Ikea) or too soft, but these are just right. If you like the sour strips at the mall (or ones that are even better), then look no more than in these strips. The low cost and the quality of the product makes it worth the purchase. In the meantime, we will gleefully devour more!

Old school classic candy, taste is the same.

Very tasty sour belts! Only "complaint" is to add more citric acid. But that's because I love extra sour candy! The flavor is delicious and the belts are a good legenth. Take a nibble now and then or just the right amount to shove it all in your mouth (that's what she said) Although I think more citric acid could be added, overall I think the sugar/citric acid ratio is well balanced. The extra citric is my personal preference. The packaging is great! There's also some little tongs in there to pick up the belts. ...If only I knew about them BEFORE we ate 3/4 of it lol. But they'll come in handy if more people plan on dippin dem hands in mah belts. Other than that, I definitely plan on reusing the packaging! 10/10 will buy again.

Delicious. It's a blast from my past. I remember going to the corner store and buying them 5 pieces for $.25. Ahhh the memories. This product came quickly and I used them to make mickey lollipops for my son's birthday party. They turned out great. The package was fresh and the belts were so soft and chewy. The problem is that there are so many in there that you keep eating them. Luckily I made most of them into the pops so there were few leftovers. I would buy them again and in different flavors too.

I love this candy. I use to eat this candy when I was little and I just remember how good this were, Checked Amazon and they had it and I had to order it! I love it! Taste: The Sour Power Belts, Strawberry tasted really good! Compare to other Sour belts, this is by far my favorite. It have a good balance of the Strawberry and Sour taste. Size: The Strawberry belt is in a good size to put into a little bag for snacks, lunch, etc. Case: When I tried to open the case to this product, I notice that a little corner broke off, but it was nothing major. It is a plastic case. If you love Sour belts, and Strawberry, I recommend this one!

I really like these candy belts. I was curious if they’d taste as good as the ones I usually buy and they do! In fact they were fresher. I know it’s just candy but if you like these too you won’t be sorry if you buy them.

Pros LOVE this treat! Every bite is like a time machine back to childhood. It tastes fresh, sour, and flavorful. The candy did not disappoint one bit. Cons I was a little surprised there would be cons with this product but here we go; - Pieces were not uniform length. You will have plenty of the standard length size belts, but there will be a LOT of 'cuttings'. These are pieces that were added to the box in order to meet the packaged weight. These 'cutting' pieces were from the size of a stick of gum to very small bite sized pieces. I figure for the price of the product the belts wouldn't have as much 'cuttings' filler. - It's too delicious. I ate them all already within a few days -__- Notes I noticed some people had orders of this that got shipped in mailers instead of a box. So I ordered this candy to go with something else so it would be shipped in a box. Arrived in perfect shape - no damaged container. Due to the lack of uniform length of the belts - next order I will try the regular sour power straws

I bought these because I had the munchies the other night and was craving something sweet and sour. Let me tell you, I have no regrets. They taste exactly what you’d expect them to taste like, perfect balance of sweet & sour. They’re delicious and legit. Also they come with cute little prongs, I thought it was a nice touch. Had no problems with order or delivery. 10/10 Love them, would purchase again.

Amazing taste

Box isn't as described on the product page. I understand that individual wrapping keeps each strap fresh and makes it easier to sell, but damn what a waste of plastic !! Try another seller if you want to reduce plastic waste, and get what you paid for. And of course no refund possible. At least it tastes as expected.
