Loxy Boost Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner Bar Set for Fine or Oily Hair

These bars surprised me in the best way. I was honestly skeptical that a little green bar could do anything for my hair, but here we are! The shampoo foams up way better than I thought it would and has a noticable texture, preventing any mix up. It cleans well and gives my hair that light, fluffy feel like I actually styled it (even when I didn't). The conditioner adds softness without weighing things down, suitable for my thin hair that oils up easy. This isn't going to go on your hair like liquid conditioner, a silky feel is definitely there though. I couldn't believe how easy it was to run my fingers through afterwords, even after throwing it in a twist hair towel. I seriously got excited over it's effectiveness, as it's not my usual result with other products that end up leaving knots and tangles. The rosemary scent is fresh without smelling like I fell into a herb garden, smells so good that I didn't want to stop lathering. Big fan of the no-bottle setup too, as well as the no palm oil and the fact that it's USA Made <3 My hair looks bouncy, feels healthier, and my shower has fewer bottles judging me. ECO is the way to go, the boxes they come in are esthetically pleasing and a friend to the planet. I would and will buy again, also going to recommend ditching the k!tsch($$) in favor of supporting this small business($). Quality over quantity, you get the real shebang- handmade and crafted with care.

Just used this for the first time and loved it. I switched to bar shampoo and conditioner a few years ago for convenience purposes and to cut my plastic use. But it's hard to find a product that lathers easily on my type 4 blend hair, especially conditioner, so my bars never last long. This has been true for both commercial and artisanal products. This is the first product I've found that solves that problem. Both bars produce a rich lather right away, you don't need to wrestle with it like others. It has a strong perfume smell when you open the package but it seems to be just because the bar is concentrated, it didn't leave a cloying smell in my hair. But if you're sensitive to perfumes in general, consider that. I've only used it once but it left my hair feeling clean and well-conditioned with soft curls. I am definitely switching to this product. If you have type 4 hair and have had trouble finding a good bar product up to now, I recommend trying this.

Bought this set of solid bar shampoo and conditioner to (a) help the environement and reduce plastic but (b) because I had an international trip and didn't want to pay to check a bag only for liquids. The shampoo was great, only takes a little to suds up and seems gentler than the liquid shampoo I've previously used. The scent was great and I felt like it damaged and dried out my hair less. On vacation, I only shampoo-ed every other day as opposed to daily at home and my hair did great. However, I wouldn't buy the conditioner bar again (which is why I took off a star). Unlike the soapy shampoo, the solid, waxlike conditioner bar really didn't come off the bar in the shower into my hands well. The directions on both boxes say to apply directly to hair (however that broke my fine thin hair when I tried so I didn't use it that way and really would recommend against that). Even still, whether attempting to apply to hair or my hands, the conditioner wants to stay in the solid bar. So I took off one star because I woudn't buy the conditioner again. This was the first solid form I've tried, so I will keep looking for conditioner or perhaps have to continue that in liquid form. But the shampoo bar was great! I just kept in on a washcloth or on the shelf outside the shower so it stayed dry when not using.

This stuff is pricey but amazing!! I'd love it even more if they came with something to put them in while they wait to be used in the next shower. The lather is insane and what this does for my scalp is incredible! I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner bar set!

They sud okay but don’t last very long even with measures took to maximize usage. Smell good though!

I love it! The application is so much smoother than other shampoo and conditioner bars! I have a lot of hair, long. My hair is wavy/curly. It smooths frizz and gives my hair moisture. I just started using it for the first time and already have another order for backup.

Reviews for this product and similar ones mention that the shampoo doesn’t last long while the conditioner seems to last ages and/or is hard to apply. After some trial and error I figured out the way. For reference my hair is about chest length, fine, but very thick. Depending on your hair length the amount you use will vary but the technique is the same. With the shampoo you don’t need as much as you think. Wet your hair, rub the bar for just a second in your wet hands then literally just swipe it a few times across your hair - I focus it along my hairline and a swipe or 2 down the length then a little rub up under the length of my hair. That sometimes is still more suds than I need. The conditioner is where I needed to get the hang of things. Just like the video in the item description shows, you have to wet and rub it for a few seconds. Then as you apply it I have found that it helps to re-wet the bar a few times. It definitely takes a lot more swipes to get it into your hair than the shampoo but will go on. The reason it seems to outlast the shampoo imo is that you need to really rub it on to use the same ratio of product since the shampoo breaks down more readily. Once I got the hang of it the bars wear down at the same rate and my hair feels awesome. I’ve tried a few different brands of these bars and so far this company has the best smells.

This is the best bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner I have ever used. It left my hair, shiny and manageable. I recommend this to everyone. I will be going on a long backpack journey, and this fits nicely in my backpack.
