Once I realised that the gloopiness of the product I was previously using meant it was probably full of plastics and other nasties, I had to look for something more eco friendly.This gel seems to fit the bill. It does the job just as well yet there's no gungey gloop and it washes straight off your hands. Very pleased with it.I have also started using shampoo and conditioner from the same range.

I have very fine, very fly-away hair and I really hate stiff or thick hair products, especially those with strong perfume. The product (a Matrix product) I've been using is no longer being made so have been trying new things - most are too still or smelly. Have had satisfactory experience with GF before so thought I'd try this. It is not as satisfactory as the old discontinued one, but is definitely better than others I've tried recently.

I ordered this hair gel to use on my 5 year olds hair and it does not disappoint. I usually wet his hair , apply the gel, and then style and it works great. It holds really well without becoming to hard or crunchy.
