Game Traveler Deluxe Licensed Travel Case for Nintendo Switch, Black - R.D.S. INDUSTRIES, INC. (NNS40)

This R.D.S. Industries Game Traveler Deluxe Travel Case for the Nintendo Switch isn’t flashy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to — protect your console when you’re on the move. The build feels solid and substantial, not like some flimsy pouch that’s going to tear the first time it’s tossed in a backpack. The hard exterior provides real protection against bumps and drops, and the interior fits the Switch nicely without feeling too tight or too loose. Storage is thoughtful: there’s room for a few game cartridges, cables, and an extra pair of Joy-Cons. Everything stays put and organized — no fishing around at the bottom of a bag for a tiny game card. The licensed design looks clean and classic, and the zipper feels like it’ll last through repeated uses. Look, it’s a travel case — not a miracle product. But if you want peace of mind knowing your Switch is safe when you take it out of the house, this one does the job without drama. Good value for what it is.

I got this for my brother for Christmas. He’s quite rough with his devices. Whenever we travel, we always put it in this case. It’s been thrown down the stairs, and the device inside was safe with no damage. This is definitely a good purchase for little ones who are rough on their electronics.

If there is a delay to the shipping, it is worth waiting it out. Although I was originally quoted 1-2 months it showed up in a week which is always a plus. I have the black case which, like others have mentioned, does have a smell to it. It does not bother me and I expect it to dissipate over time. I do have to press my nose on the case to smell it so, I do not consider that to be much of an issue as I will likely never be doing that again. The case itself is ascetically pleasing and subtle. Dead center you have the Nintendo Switch logo along with one on the pull tab. The zipper is red and white which seems unimportant but I appreciate the attention to detail. The texture on the case itself makes it feel a little more rugged. The handle at the top I wish was slightly stiffer but I will seldom be holding it like a briefcase. When you open the case you have a zippered pouch that can hold a charger, headphones, or the Joy-Con attachments. Underneath the pouch is screen friendly padding that should protect the display. The pouch actually holds the device in place as well so when you unzip the case it will reduce the chances of it falling out. The area for the Switch has the right amount of room as it will not slide around but also does not put any unnecessary pressure on the device. There are even small cutouts for the rear triggers so that they will stay in there resting position. The two game card cases are nice and will be more useful once I build my game library. Below the two cutouts for the game cards is a long horizontal cutout for... headphones? Some may complain that it does not hold a power cable but if it did the size of the case would increase too much for me to have purchased this in the first place.

Slim yet protective. Good price point too

Works great for my switch lite. Keeps it safe and has traveled with me quite a bit. I recommend it.

I absolutely love this carrying case. I bought this for my Switch (original) and I love how it fits. Not too snug but also not a lot of room for it to move around. The plastic game cases are nice but I wish they were black but that’s just a personal preference.

Great product!! BUT to some like myself, only one flaw. I am super pleased with this travelers case. I viewed many cases and finally decided to go with this one due to many factors. Which now that I have it in my hands, I can share with you and help you make up your mind. Here they are in no specific order: 1. The design was visually appealing. It has some small nice details like the logo on the zipper and on the front side of the case. The gum type strap that avoids slipping. And the look of both the exterior material, as well as the suede type inside. 2. The extra accessories to hold your physical game cartridges / memory cards. And the little mesh pouch that has an actual zipper to put in the straps and a charging cable. 3. Looked to be one of the sturdiest, made with quality materials. Which I think is one of the main factors as this is what we all want, to have our babies well protected. As you may see from my pics I have the gel caps for the joy-cons and it fits a little tighter with them attached. If you worry about it being to tight you can remove them and there is enough space to just toss them in as well together with a small phone type charger as well so your all set. The reason why I am bumping 1 star off it is due to what others have already mentioned. It may not be an issue at all to some but to me it is. Whenever I get something new I always smell it, I just love that smell of new on stuff!!! And this case had this weird musky/smokey smell to it. It's only when you close in on it to like maybe a few inches from your nose but it is there. What I did was spray it with some perfume and leave it open and it has diminished and I hope it soon disappears entirely. All in all I am very satisfied and happy with the purchase. I think it is well worth the extra 5$ish bucks you pay compared to other cases that cost aprox.15$.

Good quality and storage

Highly recommend buying something like this or this product in particular for your switch one to protect it for long-term use and travel

One of my favorite protective cases I have! Feels solid as a rock the switch fits perfectly and is safe for traveling! It even has an adjustable stand and come with two mini cases to put your game cartridge’s in!! Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended!
