We've all heard of the "thigh gab," but let's be honest, how many real woman have it? Most of us have to deal with the chub rub, even the super fit (why they can't pick a better name than "chub rub" is beyond me). Chub rub has made wearing a skirt or dress in the ny summer (or any other region that is humid) uncomfortable unless you want to wear the bicycle shorts underneath. But sometimes, you just want to go sans bike shorts.Enter Monistate Soothing Care. Pretty much the best thing invented for girls in the summer. I walk about five miles a day, home from work (by choice, I could take the train). In the summer, it used to be impossible due to the painful chafing I'd end up with, but now, I don't even think twice about how gross and humid it is outside. Rub on in the morning, and despite the heat, the humidity, it lasts pretty much all day. Say good bye to you bike shorts! (unless you want to keep them for those shorter dresses). Sometimes before I leave work, I'll reapply a little, just in case.It feels like it would be super greasy, but it really isn't. I've applied it, and than accidentally gotten on my dress, no stain! No smell either! I keep a tube in my desk, a tube in my purse and a tube at home, because I don't want to be without it. I do wish it was cheaper, like $5 a tube, and that they sold it at Duane Reade or some other pharmacy, so I don't have to order on line. But, for now, I'll make do.The best part is, for those of us who've had chub rub in the past (I'll looking at most of you!), your skin tends to get darker in those areas. We ALL wish it wouldn't happen. Since using this, my skin has gotten lighter.

Great face primer! I'm totally serious. Just as good as the expensive stuff! I wear it almost every day under my foundation. I will, and DO buy again!

I bought this stuff a year ago to use as a primer for my make up. It works wonderfully! In fact, I returned that expensive face primer I bought from Mac. Anyways, now that it’s summer, I ordered more to use for under my breasts. In the summertime, I sweat, because I have heavy breasts and I end up breaking out with an itchy rash underneath. I know it’s from the heat. I use this and it stops any kind of rash from breaking out. I’ve also used this under my stomach, as my stomach does hang from a little bit of weight. Again, it stops any kind of rash. It goes on silky smooth, and dries quickly. I can’t recommend this stuff enough.

Where we currently live, the summers are extremely hot. To make matters worse, we live in a 40+-yr old buildingwith very little insulation left! Whatever the temps are outside are not too far off from inside, even with the AC running.I started using this last summer, when we had a 21-day streak of over-100-degree temps. It was a nightmare of a heat wave.I am overweight, so have some extra skin-to-skin places that perhaps others might not have.I get miserably uncomfortable in those places, to the point of my skin cracking or even bleeding.So, I ordered some of this. I couldn't find it locally, so ordered it from Amazon.It was shipped quickly and arrived in great shape.I wish Monistat would make a larger, more cost-effective tube. While a little does go a long way, theoretically,it is still a pretty small tube compared to the price.The feeling of this gel is wonderful - it glides on super soft and light textured.Even better, it WORKS! I didn't have the cracked skin despite the heat wherever I applied this.Note that it will not stop you from sweating, but will stop the chafing.There is only one bad part of this item (other than the cost being too high for how much you get! Seriously...)This is NOT non-comedogenic. So, this stuff WILL block skin pores like crazy.Where I noticed this the most was under my breasts (yeah, I said it! I am sure some of the ladies readingthis review are thinking of that exact use!). It did a great job of stopping the chafing. My skin was not crackingor bleeding like before. BUT - it clogs up the pores. When I use this, my breasts almost look like they havemild acne. I get red zit-like dots, and some just fill up like a blackhead. It has to be this product, becauseit is the only thing I've used in that area. So, I was not very happy about that. However, I have tried a coupleother products now, and while I didn't notice the pore-blocking, they also did not stop the chafing!So, it is a trade-off for large-breasted women.It works great for the chafing, but isn't so great for your pores.

I have tried pretty much everything on any list of "best chafing products" and this one by far is my favorite. My go to for years was the Rump anti- chafing cream from lush, but they discontinued it! 😭 So my search for anything nearly as effective began. I have tried the mega babe stick, the arm and hammer stick, chamois for women, literally almost every product. This is by far my new go to. It's so silky and creates a super effective glide. It is fragrance free and doesn't have any type of odor! It doesn't transfer to clothing and honestly lasts without need for reapplication for impressively long! I go to Disneyland often and even on long days walking miles through the parks, sweating like crazy, I only need to reapply once, the whole day! I do usually reapply a second time throughout the day, just for good measure. I also love how compact the tube is so it's super easy to keep in your bag, which during the summer is usually a good safety net. A tiny bit of this goes a very long way, so the tube seems deceptively small. Love this product so much. Also, it's super affordable compared to a lot of the other products out there! So happy and impressed to have found a replacement from my lush cream I loved so much.
