Ordered this for my son as he is fascinated by Ants. Immediately after setting the ant house up the worker Ants got to work building tunnels. The photos are after less than 24hrs and they have worked hard. My son is absolutely delighted and sits for ages watching them working.

Very nice ant farm!! It’s not huge but big enough for the 25 ants I got that seem to really enjoy. Who know ants would be so fun to watch!! The open area makes it easy to put their liquid and food in.

Mi hijo está encantado observando cómo se comunican, cómo transportan los huevos y cómo construyen sus túneles. 🎓 Valor educativo Este hormiguero no es solo un juguete: es una ventana al mundo natural. Ha despertado en mi hijo una curiosidad enorme por la entomología, la ecología y el comportamiento animal. Cada día es una nueva aventura, y juntos aprendemos sobre jerarquías, ciclos de vida y organización social. Conclusión Recomiendo este hormiguero 3D a cualquier familia que quiera combinar diversión con aprendizaje. Tener una colonia con reina incluida es un privilegio, y ver cómo crece y evoluciona es una experiencia que deja huella. Mi hijo está feliz, y yo también.

Für Einsteiger eine leichte und schnelle Variante, WENN man sich vorher informiert hat und weiß was man tut. Für Neulinge, die es einfach probieren wollen, dank englischer Anleitung und weniger Infos nicht geeignet. Klar, selbermachen wäre besser, aber mir fehlt das handwerkliche Geschick und Werkzeug. Meine Töchter freuen sich über unsere Messor barbarus, allerdings musste ich schon am Anfang eine Ameise retten, die von Königin Frigga mit dem dicken Hintern in die blaue Lösung geschubst wurde und nicht mehr raus kam. Habe ich ihr Vertrauen gewonnen? :D Anfangs waren sie wie tot einfach nur zusammengerollt auf der Königin. Der Karton selbst war innen ausgekühlt. Da diese Art aber gern Winterruhe hält, war ich erstmal nicht besorgt. Ruckzuck ging auch schon das große Krabbeln los. Noch am ersten Tag fing eine fleißige Arbeiterin an von oben zu graben nachdem sie die Bahn mehrmals auf und ab ging. Es war auch nur eine auf der Reise hier her verendet. Das ist doch ne super Quote. Also alles in allem kann ich es empfehlen, aber es ist eben kein Terra auf Lebenszeit, sondern wirklich nur für den Einstieg. Da man es an den Seiten erweitern kann, ist das nicht tragisch.

Huge disappointment! Super small barely any supplies with it. You would think that for over a hundred dollars you would at least get a voucher for ants or something. No instructions just thrown into a cardboard box. My son was super upset. We opened it the day after Christmas and it was nothing but a bag of sand and an aquarium that looks like it was already returned. Would not recommend spending anyone for one of these. So upset that a company would charge this much money for nothing. It’s no more than maybe five inches long by two inches wide by three inches tall maybe and that’s guessing. Again no instructions came with this.

Siempre quise tener un hormiguero y este kit trae todo lo necesario (el hormiguero en sí, comida, hormigas, arena etc...). Los primeros días hay que tener paciencia y que salgan ellas solas del tubito donde vienen muy bien conservadas para el transporte, y una vez salgan ellas ya van creando las galerias, es muy gracioso verlas ir y venir con los granitos de arena para dejarlos fuera de su casa. Me parece un regalazo desde luego.
