How difficult to sharpen?

Not very difficult at all. I use my whetstone for it.

I don’t know where it’s made but I had one from the Alaska. ULU Company but my handle fell off I was so worried about finding a forever Ulu and I ordered this one it is made of German steal and very well made there is no way the handle will come off I love this new one it is amazing for dicing onions or meat whatever you want to cut but I suggest if it’s your first one to buy the Ulu cutting board on one side it is indented the other side is flat
