Gabriel Load Carrier Spring Assit Towing & Hauling Shocks | Rear Pair

2007 Chevy Tahoe... Direct fit, no problems... Old gas shocks where bouncy and visually leaking... You could see the fluid stains leaking down the side of the shock... When old shocks were removed, they didn't even pump back up on their own... They remained compressed and did not return to height... Apparently, I was riding on the springs alone, because these shocks were doing absolutely nothing... After installing the new ones, the difference is night and day... Has shock with spring support... The rear doesn't sag down at all with the trailer attached... Very very very happy... Ride is much better...

Great quality! Fit my 2003 Silverado perfect. Truck rides like new again. Word of advise: these are a little more difficult to install due to the heavy spring. You'll probably need a second hand.

Putting these on the rear of my truck to replace new Duralast. it handles so much better! Less of a cushioned bouncy ride, no lean in cornering. Better for occasional rv towing, and solid reliable ride when not towing.

Works as advertised really helps when carrying loads in a pickup. But be aware they do make the vehicle ride a bit rougher depending on the style of pickup.

Really really nice. Put them on the back of my 2007 Escalade (they do fit, even though Amazon says they dont). Rides just as good as the factory "air" suspension did, but a lot cheaper and simpler. I also have them paired with a 4-inch drop spring and shock lowering bracket (to make sure the shocks dont bottom out with the lowered springs). Absolutely perfect setup.

Installation easy. Just drop your diff and jack up the bed by the tow hook. Make installing them way easier. Hauled 2 scoops of 3/4 gravel for a garage I was doing and it pass with flying colors. Did this all day 2 scoops at a time for a combine of 10 scoops. If you’re looking for an affordable set of shocks that actually work when carrying heavy loads i recommend them. Also a smooth ride.

Shocks did not fit my 2002 Chevy Silverado. The vendor said they would. I had to remove the assist springs and mount just the shocks.

Installed in a 21 Silverado 4x4 with low rise aluminum commercial cap and steel tray roll out bed. Even before adding tools and supplies the truck rode loaded down and the front end was too light once loaded. These fixed the soft back end, truck has proper rake now even when loaded sits close to level, the front is slightly lower which provides for a major handling upgrade in windy roads. Also handles the bumps 100x better, no longer bouncing off bump stops all day long. Definitely recommend in a work truck application!
