I am the tech guy at my church. I needed a quick replacement headset. This is replacing a 27-year-old Countryman unit, at about 1/10th the cost. I was willing to try it, and not expect that sort of longevity or quality... but... the sound produced has been impressive. It fit well in the transmitter unit and had no issues with compatibility. DO YOUR RESEARCH before you buy any replacements though! I could easily have purchased something which would not have worked. Thankfully, the issue with the original mic was in the mic/headset (wires worn from stress, pulling, and age - my current pastor likes to carry it in her hand, and she moves around a lot!. I've admonished her to keep it in a pocket, clipped to the back of her clothing, or in the pack belt I got for her some time ago.) While I do NOT expect to get 27 years' worth of use out of this unit, I'm happy to have it up and running again with no downtime!
