It is heat resistant, thin, pliable and easy to grab things. You can wash it in the dishwasher! This the second time I have purchased this, and I got rid of my fabric pot holders. The only downside is that you are buying only one so be sure to indicate the quantity you want.

These are the best potholders I’ve ever used, I’ve had mine for over six months and use them everyday as I cook often. I just ordered a second set for my daughter. They are flexible, easy to grip pans and handles, and really heat resistant. Highly recommend them!

I've been delighted with these, and have been buying more to give to friends as I can. The 7" size has been good for me and my huge hands, but at any size you feel like wrangling, these have set the new standard for me.I will note that I haven't had the chance to grab anything extremely hot yet, and still a bit wary about that, but it's so totally unaffected by normal baking uses I am less concerned every time I use them.

Flexible, heat shielding, useful size. I’ve had them a month now, and I’m quite satisfied with their utility. As others have said, the charcoal gray color is a turnoff. Sometimes you have to go for function, not aesthetics.

After reading a cook's Illustrated test & review of potholders I promptly ordered their top two picks. This potholder was #2. I MUCH prefer this one to the top finisher. Realizing that everyone will have personal preferences for how they cook and what cookware they use, this is a very subjective opinion. But here is what makes this product ENJOYABLE to use. 1) It feels good in the hand - easy to grab and put to use, no fumbling to get in position to optimize 2) It is a sure and easy grip - when you make contact with our cookware you are not second guessing yourself. I feel confident in this potholder and have from the first time I used it 3) Cleanability!!! Can't beat this one. Just rinse it off, dab, and it's dry and back in the drawer. It is now hard to want to use any of the existing potholders in the drawer.
