Exactly What I Needed It To Be
A review for this ultrabook is a bit overdue, but for good reason. I wanted to post a review one year later in order to provide a thorough, and hopefully, insightful reassessment for the ASUS Zenbook. Without further ado, I will go into detail explaining why acquiring this Zenbook was the best investment I could hope for.To provide context, this time around last year I had been using my old 15” ASUS Notebook (model K53E) since 2011. Not so surprisingly after six years of use my old laptop was breaking down on me, running slow, shutting off at the most inopportune times, etc. Obviously it was time for an upgrade.I had been eying at the LG Gram then, but right as I was nearing my decision of purchasing it, it went up in price back to $999 (of course since then the price fluctuates up and down, courtesy of our economy). Devastated, I searched frantically for an alternative within the price range I could only afford at the time. I was looking for something perhaps lighter (though not a requirement), with all the ports I need (USB, HDMI, SD Card Slot Reader), and something that was capable of running programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as I am an undergraduate student in the visual communications program. Eventually, I was recommended this ASUS Zenbook. It was a smaller size, therefore lighter than my previous laptop, had all the ports I needed (that I use daily, btw, three USB ports is such a sweet spot), and within my price range. Plus, it was manufactured by a company and brand I was already familiar with. Still, I hesitated because it wasn’t ASUS themselves selling the laptop.Because of this, it meant that I had to instill a great amount of trust in Adorama Camera. However, I took a chance on Adorama Camera, and they did not disappoint. It’s no wonder they have such amazing reviews on here, I can say with utmost certain all the positive reviews are accurate. I will definitely recommend them when someone asks where/who to buy a laptop from. Now onto the laptop: It was a bumpy start in the beginning though because of issues (that were easily resolved with a Google search) such as when I tried right-clicking on files to view their properties, my Zenbook would never pull up the information or the screen would just crash. However, after a quick search for a solution online I found out that all it took to fix this issue was simply to uninstall PhantomFox PDF Reader (which comes preinstalled). I will not fault Adorama Camera for this because it’s not their fault that this type of bloatware comes preinstalled and inconveniences the user experience (this is clearly ASUS’s fault). Another issue I have is my Zenbook occasionally freezes, causing me to manually shutdown/restart my computer. This is more likely due to a memory problem, but it doesn’t happen too often so it’s not that big of a deal for me, though it can get annoying. Again I’m sure this is probably an issue I can fix with more researching. The build and quality is really nice, kinda like a Macbook Air clone, but with a better keyboard and travel speed. I hardly use the trackpad (it's not my favorite thing; I rely more on my mouse that I connect via dongle), but it is an option. Screen quality is something that I love the most about this laptop (despite being a small size, I overlook that just because I get so engrossed in the content I'm consuming/creating online). And the battery life is decent, depending on what I use it for I can go almost five-six hours depending on factors (if brightness is dimmed, I'm not running extensive programs, etc.). I wasn't in the beginning particularly a huge fan of the huge brick of the charger that comes with it, but eventually I got used to carrying that thing around (I definitely needed to have it on me as the Zenbook never makes it past half the day). The real charm from this Zenbook is the portability, and a more bearable weight on my back when carrying it in my backpack. I always love joking around calling it a "fake Macbook", but honestly, I've come to grow and learn that I like this laptop way more than a real Macbook.A year later, I can say with affirmation that it was a much needed upgrade from the old laptop and it does everything I need it too. Definitely worth the value and sold by a reliable seller on here.

Best Bang for your Buck Ultrabook
I really only have good things to say about this product with a few gripes. I bought this laptop as a primary use for school and some designing and editing projects throughout the year. It was a toss up between the XPS 13 and this lovely machine. I chose this machine because it was a way better bang for you buck. That being said these are a few of my thoughts so far, I've owned it close to a month now so keep that in mind.- The screen is very good. The touchscreen makes the panel glossy which is a bit annoying at times if you have a lot of light in the room, but it isnt anything that cant be remedied by moving or tilting the screen. I love the touchscreen ability, I thought I wouldn't care for it but I find myself using it a lot for scrolling and basic things that would take a split second longer if I was to use a track pad.- The speed is unquestionable. The processor is blazing quick especially if you're really only using this for entertainment, school work and some basic editing and photo manipulation.- Battery life is pretty good. Being honest this is probably my only gripe with this machine. The battery seems to last close to 6 hours or less depending on usage. Don't expect to hit over 6 hours with this thing unless you're ready to have one tab open at a time with lowest brightness. I really wish the battery life was a bit better, it might be something within windows 10 but I honestly doubt it. This really is my only real disappointment with the machine.-Lastly build quality is superb. I love the look of this thing, very clean minimal and just sleek. The keyboard is excellent same with the back lighting. The track pad is also very good despite some gesture cut outs that have happened like once a week (Solved by a reboot). And overall the tracking is very on point. The memory on the machine is also very good, 256gb is a little small for me but its nothing that cant be solved by an external HD for my less necessary files.Overall I really recommend the ASUS UX303UA because of the great quality you get for a very good price point. If you're looking for a great computer with awesome specs for a good price, you are at the right place. I highly recommend this product for students and will probably get an ASUS product for my next ultrabook in a few years.Thank you ASUS.

Portatile super veloce

I am more than pleased with this laptop
My ASUS was delivered very quickly - with 2 days of ordering. I am more than pleased with this laptop. It is lightweight and yet a good size for keyboarding and having a big enough screen.
