I never ever write reviews. But this time I just had to. I have had GERD for years. Nothing - I repeat - NOTHING helped me. I was getting worse and worse, from feeling burning only a few times a week with certain foods, to feeling it 24/7 and swallowing mucus daily, tight chest, coughing, LPR symptoms, etc. I slept at a 90 degree angle, often woke up at night in pain, got nauseous constantly, and nearly vomited anytime I lifted something remotely heavy. I tried HCL, digestive enzymes, bitters, aloe, chiropractics, acupuncture, TCM diet, getting rid of my Candida and H Pylori, and a bunch of other stuff. Even the AIP (autoimmune paleo) diet didn’t improve my reflux symptoms - though it did wondrously eliminate my chronic joint pain. About a month ago I started taking the liposomal glutathione (2 capsules daily in between meals near the beginning of the day) and I was literally expecting nothing. I have low expectations these days. After about two weeks I realized I wasn’t burping during every meal, I was able to lay almost flat to sleep and getting much better quality z’s, I could tolerate wine once in a while, the nausea stopped, I didn’t feel burning all the time, I could do yoga again, I didn’t have to wait 5 hours after eating to go to bed, etc. I couldn’t believe it... I still can’t believe it. I’m not 100%, not even close. But I’m on a slow incline instead of a decline and that is everything. Now it’s a matter of not taking it for granted and continuing to stay on the same regimen and working on rebalancing my gut bacteria. I swear, I am so lucky to have randomly run across the name of this supplement on someone’s blog. It has given me hope that I can heal and that I might not be plagued with a future of esophageal cancer and early death. Everyone’s body is different, and the things that worked for all those people I found online over the years did not work for me. Except this. I got to the point of giving up many times and could not imagine a world in which my reflux would improve in the slightest. If you’re managing a chronic illness and everything thus far seems to have failed you, KEEP TRYING. Keep searching searching searching for options, do your due diligence to make sure any supplement you add is safe to take with your current ones, don’t let your doctors bully you or make you feel hopeless, and most important of all: practice positive self-talk. Especially when you’ve fallen into a deep pit of despair and think you’ll never get better, it’s important to tell yourself (internally and externally): I am healing, I will heal, I can do this, my body is strong, etc. Changing the language surrounding my illness and my feelings towards it gave me the motivation to keep researching when I was certain I’d exhausted every option, turned over every rock. I’m just so thrilled something worked for me. I’m sending out lots of healing love to everyone else out there who is still struggling and in pain, because there is hope for you. You’ve got this.

I was using another brand of liposomal glutathione which were powder capsules. They were the most popular high cost ones on the market. I had a really bad detox reaction that came on very quickly with that brand so decided to try the core Med science liposomal gel caps instead. Which has a different delivery system. No phosphatidylcholine added. These were much smoother no reaction. Yet benefits only. Quite happy

I have been using this product for about a week, and the main thing I want to mention is that the caps are very hard to swallow.The soft gels are very hard and unyielding and they make my throat sore. I am a pro at swallowing large pills and these are the most painful by far. The gel caps look small but they are hard, and the circumference is large. They are smooth, but they always hurt going down. I normally swallow supplements with a smoothie, but these are taken on an empty stomach. I may go back to the nasty gel packets after I finish this bottle of gel caps. I don't like to eat gelatin anyway as I am vegan. I do like that I don't have sulfa burps with the caps, but I don't like that you have to wait an hour to eat, whereas with the goo, you only have to wait 15 minutes to eat. I have noticed an improvement in my energy levels and my chronic pain has decreased, but it's difficult to isolate the different factors, especially after only a week of pulsing this supplement. I didn't know i had to wait an hour to eat either, so I was just waiting 15 minutes. After I got an email from the company, I read that you have to wait an hour to eat after taking this. I tried it yesterday. It may just be coincidence, but I had more energy and felt better overall. I will edit my review after I finish the bottle.

I've been dealing with mercury and lead poisoning for many years without even knowing it. The heavy metals high toxicity lowered my immunity system and wrecked my nervous system and my intestinal flora. I do have a very healthy diet now, high healthy fats and protein, low carbs, nothing processed and I also try to eat as organic as I can get. I tried to raise the levels of glutathione in my body naturally by eating good quality eggs, cruciferous vegetables, bone broth, beef gelatin, lots of sprouted nuts. My body started to get stronger and I felt more energetic gradually. Till I started supplementing my diet with liposomal glutathione 2 weeks ago. Now my body is on a whole different level. I'm taking it first thing in the morning and it just makes me feel happy. Energetic, confident, and focused is one but this pill actually makes me feel happy. I still don't know the damages that the metals have caused to my nervous system but it used to be so bad that I have been dealing with depression, anxiety, mood swings and unable to identify the cause. Now those days are gone. I am a new person now. I don't think that the glutathione alone would have helped this much without the healthy lifestyle and a conscious effort to improve. Every little thing adds up. This pill is the ultimate for me. I do not recommend to anyone taking this by ear if you don't need it. it definitely works wonders for me but that doesn't mean it may work the same for everybody else.

I have used several products from Core Med Science and love all of them. From what I have been able to find out, the ingredients are not sourced from China where you have to worry about lead. Able to swallow easily and no after taste. These are a good price for what you get. I will continue to use products from Core Med Science.

To start off, I have used several brands of liposomal glutathione and have made my own many times when I had access to the right solvent, so I am very familiar with the taste and smell of glutathione. Also, being chronically ill, it is the supplement that makes or breaks my health, so I know when it’s not working. Specifically, I have a genetic variant where I do not produce much glutathione on my own. I have taken these for several days, switching from another brand, at two softgels per day, and they do not seem to work at all. All the benefits I was getting from the other brand vanished once I started these. The most obvious signs that glutathione is working for me are my skin is not oily, and my stool smells like sulfur (basically smells like glutathione). Since I started taking these my skin has gotten oily again, my stool does not smell like sulfur, and my energy and health have started to slip somewhat. Even taking 250mg of the other brand was vastly better than 500mg of this. The point of any glutathione softgel is that you don’t have to taste or smell it, but I decided to break one open to see if they were real. Whatever is in this is NOT glutathione. It has almost no smell and it tastes just like liposomal C — another thing I have made myself before, which is also a much cheaper product this same company sells for half the price. I am already taking liposomal c from another brand, which would explain why I didn’t see any benefit from this regardless. But given that liposomal C does have its own great health benefits, I am very suspicious that is why people are still leaving good reviews. The results are real, people are not lying — but I suspect they don’t know they’re being sold something way cheaper than what they paid for, that does not do all the things they paid for, and is generally not as good as what they paid for. I was considering buying their liposomal C and B complex softgels, but not anymore. I don’t trust this company.
