I recently changed my front door to a new composite door, however I'd failed to realise that this new door would not allow my Ring doorbell to attach to the frame like the previous door (not enough space to fit it). This adjustable mounting plate is an ideal alternative. The instructions are not very clear, specifically on how to attach the ring doorbell to the mounting plate, and what size wall plugs are provided. Mounting it to the plate was actually very simple, and just required me to screw the provided screws through the ring camera mounting holes into the holes on the plate. For the wall plugs, I initially tried a 5mm masonry drill bit, and this was a shade too small. A 6mm drill bit was spot on I found. I attached the ring camera to the mounting plate prior to attaching the eplate to the wall, which I think was a good idea as it wpuld be awkward to attach the camera once the plate was on the wall. Once I'd securely attached this mount to the wall, it was a simple thing to adjust the angle so that the camera was facing where I wanted it to face, and them secure the angle by tightening the screws on the top and bottom. All done, and it looks great. I'm very happy with it. It comes with a small screw driver, the required screws and wall plugs, and several spare screws too.

The item does exactly what it should. It was easy to install and came with all the screws, rowel plugs, adhesive strips (that I didn't need) and a screwdriver required, all you need to supply is the wall, the doorbell and a drill. The range of adjustment will suite most applications, my door is offset from the front gate by approx 4m and the 30 degree setting was perfect so there is lots of adjust available. The item is made of sturdy plastic and is strong and stable. Well worth the money and looks very tidy in position.

Item does exactly what it advertises. I nice effective solution for mounting your ring doorbell with an adjustable angle. We have fitted this to the side of the front door and the mount itself is small in profile and gives a nice viewing angle of the door.

Really good bit of kit. I was sceptical because it isn't a 'Ring' brand, but it works! Looks sleek, easy to place at the angle that you want it. The front of the house is at a corner so we needed an angle on it to see around the side side where the driveway is. The size fits the doorbell well. Overall very happy with this product! Worth the price. Highly recommend!

Works very well but the installation info is vv poor It is best look at a UTUBE video first to understand how the unit gets attached to the mounting. Would have given 5 stars otherwise

This is the second angle mount I purchased for my Ring Pro 2 Video doorbell. The first one, which I purchased on Etsy, was just a simple block of plastic with no screws, no instructions, and no mounting holes pre-drilled. It was unusable. By contrast, this adjustable angle mount came with very clear, illustrated instructions, a full set of mounting screws, anchors, etc. and even a handy little screwdriver which matched the size of the Philips head screws supplied. (The Philips bit on the Ring screwdriver is too large, so this came in quite handy). This mount was very easy to attach to the Ring doorbell with the supplied screws; they also provide a set of screws and anchors to mount the adapter to the wall. I was surprised to find a spare Torx security screw supplied, which the Ring screwdriver bit will fit. My Ring doorbell matched up perfectly to one set of holes in the adapter faceplate. These holes are actually molded and reinforced with more material for strength. A very important feature! Once the whole thing is mounted on the wall and the Ring installed, it was simple to adjust the angle of my Ring to get the view I wanted. In my case, since my Ring was mounted 90 degrees to my door, I used the full 55 degree angle which enables the video doorbell to see my walkway and driveway. This is a very well-made and beautifully engineered mount for your Ring. Included are a variety of screws for different Ring models, and the adapter has a pattern of mounting holes to match many Ring models. I highly recommend this adapter!
