Q: I need the additional 6 inch piece to add to the 2 5 inch ramps that i own. our new house has a 6 inch step. how can i order just that last section ?

I would go with a 5 inch. I had the same problem and tried a 4 inch and I didn’t work well I got a 5 inch any put a thin board under the top and it has worked well. I would try a different brand. These do not stay together well. They slide one way or the other.

Q: How does it dissassemble after taking it out of the shipping package? The three pieces seem very stuck together and there were no instructions. .

This is a very unsafe product. Like you said it came with no instructions, so I had to ask a friend to pull the pieces apart for me. We had to bang them with a hammer to pull them apart. The edges are very sharp (too sharp for my use) and once the weight goes on it the slots keep slipping out - it just does not stay together. I sent back the product as it was too dangerous to keep.

Q: My threshold is 31/2" high should I buy the 3" one or the 4" one?

I would probably not. Whereas it could be easy to dismount the additional 1/2" it could be difficult to mount it. Thought also has to be given to whether it is a hand-pushed or electronic wheel chair and the weight being carried in it.
