Yes, it is absolutely the real MRE Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese. The confusion was caused by a change in size of the pouches from 1.5 oz to 1.0 oz at the end of 2017. Also, a different manufacturer was contracted at that time to make 3 of the spreads. Customers are just now seeing these changes in the official MRE Full Meals.
