ANECO Compostable Food Waste Bags 13 Gallon, 50 Count

I have been using these bags for a couple of years now and they have worked great. The main thing you need to be aware of is how you pull a full bag out of the trashcan. Because these can break down they have a higher likelihood of ripping. After a few full bags, though, you will figure out how to remove them without the bag splitting, I love knowing that I’m not throwing trash into the landfill inside of a bag that won’t break down. These trash bags are decently thick in the material feels very soft, they are also the perfect size for my trashcan.

In my opinion, I enjoy using these bags. As a sustainable option these bags hold well for daily home waste. They have not leaked in me and fit perfectly in my trash can. I wanted something other than plastic bags to carry waste I can’t recycle and these do the trick. Bonus: they are compostable meaning they will degrade faster and cleaner than the plastic trash bags.

I hope everyone knows that any bags with description biodegradable are NOT compostable even if they use both terms! When speaking of true compostable (bags that are actually planet-friendly), these bags have been the best and I've tried many. Sure I wish they could make them a bit stronger, but all those I have tried have been about the same toughness, so it's not quite right to judge them so harshly. The simple fact is one has to be a bit more careful when handling these and if so you will greatly reduce any tearing. Best of luck! Thanks fo helping out planet :-)

Like it to put in my compost bin, but pretty thin & have had some trouble with leaking & having to double bag. Otherwise serves it's purpose most of the time. Wish they were a little thicker & had handles to tie. Just ok.

I am on multiple orders of these bags. Our previous compost bags leaked and we had to scrub compost pail each time we emptied it. Dripping on kitchen floor going to bin was getting old. Tried these and am MOST satisfied. I like the fact that I can put these into our green bin (picked up by city) without having food scraps strewn all over. Keeps the large green bin clean and I don't have to scrub the compost pail each time I empty it. I highly recommend these bags. I feel good using something that I know will compost quickly. No more plastic bags for us!

I was looking forward to trying these bags out, I should have passed. The bags feel thick and durable and I liked that they had a tie top. They are twice as thick as my previous compost garbage bags but puncture easily and for no reason. I never had a problem with previous bags. There are no sharp edges in the bags and are usually a little over half full before changed out. Almost every bag has leaked or got a hole in it, usually near the bottom sides. The punctures are just big enough to have something spill out all over the place. I did give several chances hoping that the next bag would work out, not so much. Absolute waste for the money. Unfortunately, I can not return them because I took too long giving them chances to possibly redeem themselves. 👎🏼
