Great reverse camera for my Mazda MX5 NC
This reverse camera installed really nicely in my 2010 Mazda Miata. Managed to route the cables quite easily to the Pioneer AVH 2DIN receiver in the dash. The camera’s default reversing guide lines and low light ability are more than adequate.

Not for rear facing. Placement requires to be fit underneath a frame
I expected to fit this to the back door of the car but this camera requires to be placed underneath a lid or lip with the bolt pointing up vertically, not directly into the back the door facing out.Bummer, my mistake.

Get the extension video cable!
I'm happy with the image quality for the price. I think it performs well day and night. If you don't mount it in the center of your car you will want to clip one of the little wires that shows guidelines and instead use the guidelines on your head unit (which you should be able to customize the position of). You will probably need an extension cable to go from the camera (mounted on your trunk or hatch) to the main cabin of the car. After that the included cable can be run to the front of the vehicle to connect to the head unit.
