I pretty rarely will write a review, good or bad. But, the alignment method for installing these sets up an absolutely perfect install every time. This ensures no risk of them slipping off, rattling doors, etc that happens with every other brand I've seen. Definitely more sturdy once installed.I actually now use these to secure cabinets in general that I want to keep people out of including adults. These are a bit more than some of the others, but, for good reason; the easy install jig and quality are better, far easier, and the end result performs better and more securely..

These locks are fantastic. We haven't had them truly tested yet, but they've stopped me when I forget to use the key! Install was simple with the included installation jig. It holds the lock and latch in place so you know they'll line up. They even include extra adhesive pads in case you mess up. I dropped one in dog hair so it came in handy. The switch to turn them off when you no longer need them is great as well.Suggestions: Nothing is wrong with the installation guide, but I did have a few doors that do not close completely and some draws that don't line up as the instructions show. You may have to play with the mounting depth to get it to work right. These were really easy to install. The one thing to look out for is if your cabinets are square or have a gap. These would work on our lazy susan, if it were square, and there is one china cabinet that they don't work with because there is a slight gap around the door so the lock won't catch. On our regular kitchen cabinets they work beautifully. I love that they can be turned off, for when my toddler isn't in the area I don't have to deal with hanging latches or unlocking cabinets. I also love that they aren't visible. We've had to use different locks on the outside of places where these don't work and those locks are such an eye sore. We keep the "key" on the top of fridge so it's always handy. The only issue is when family comes over and they aren't as good about putting the key back in its spot, and I have to then go searching for it on a counter or elsewhere on the fridge.

These work well and are relatively easy to use. They seem as if they would work much better on older, overlay style cabinets than they do with inset cabinetry. With our inset cabinets, there is only one location that the lock can be installed and that's at the bottom of the cabinet door, on the floor/base of the inside of the cabinet. It works well enough for most cabinets but, with a trash can cabinet for example, there isn't enough room for the install. The cabinets are too wide to install from the side as there is too much space between the door and the side of the cabinet. I may try installing some scrap wood on the sides to shim this out so that these will work. Since I can't knock off half a star, I'm going to take one off for this reason. Other than that though, these are great locks and seem to work well. If you have overlay style cabinets, these are great. If you have inset cabinetry, these are still pretty good with the one aforementioned exception.

I've been using these locks for a week now and really love them so far. They were easy to install, easy to operate, and I really like that they come with 3 keys instead of just one like some of the other options. They were also a better price than some with fewer locks and keys. For the installation to work in a couple of my drawers I had to add a small piece of wood to the top inside of the drawer frame in order to give the top of the lock something to stick to. In one drawer I used screws to attach the piece wood (you can't see it since it's inside) and in another drawer I just used a piece of the extra 3M sticky tape that was included in the package. They are all holding very strong and my toddler tests them a lot. When you install them be sure not to stick them tight until you know they are in the correct spot. Even when you don't try to stick them tight they are on pretty strong.

These were really easy to install They seem to be a strong adhesive. The only problem is like others have said. Some “don’t work”. I want to clarify if you pay attention it’s not that half don’t work but half or some don’t have the same strength sensitivity to the magnet. I think if they were used on cabinets it would be ok but I used them on the drawers which are thicker and therefore farther away from the magnet key ... so they all worked but I couldn’t use half because they would only open closer to the lock than others

Our grandchild is coming for a visit and we are baby proofing our house. These cabinet door locks come with adhesive pads for relatively easy mounting (instructions say can be screwed in - doesn't seem necessary). The adhesive pads do the job well so far. The kit includes extra adhesive pads if and when you don't get the placement just right. Didn't have any issues mounting them after slight learning curve on mounting first lock. I really like the on off switch on each lock. Now we can disable these locks when not needed (child cannot get to switch unless door is open). Locks use magnetic key to open. I was delighted that kit included three magnet keys. It seems that my wife has her favorite place to keep "her" key and I have mine plus a spare. We are would order these child safety locks again.
