Solitary Bee Ready
I manage my be hotel for solitary bees and these are the right size and are heavy duty enough to use within a container such as a closed end downpipe tube. If not in a container they may get wet and unwind so purchase outer tubes or ensure your bee hotel has a weather shield/roof with an overhang.

Graditi alle api selvatiche. Purtroppo il prezzo è aumentato in maniera folle
Le api gradiscono queste cannucce al pari dei bambú, e l'anno prossimo saranno più semplici da sostituire. A prima vista possono sembrare piccole ma invece sono perfette. Ricordatevi di tappare il fondo. Personalmente ho pressato dentro dei pezzetti di carta tipo Scottex cucina con l'aiuto di una matita. Aggiornamento un anno dopo : il prezzo è aumentato enormemente, peccato. Non le ricomprerò

Voor de bijen maakt het geen verschil !
Heb al jaren verschillende bijenhotels voor de metselbijen. Ieder jaar rond deze tijd komen die uit de oude buisjes tevoorschijn. Nu is het zo dat de nieuwe generatie bijen toch het liefst in nieuwe buisjes hun eitjes leggen in plaats van de reeds gebruikte. Werk al jaren met steeds nieuwe bamboe buisjes waar ze zonder probleem in gaan. Dit jaar bij wijze van proef de helft bamboe en de andere helft van deze kartonnen buisjes gebruikt om te kijken welke ze liever hebben. Maakt voor de bijen dus geen verschil, zie foto's. Ga in het vervolg dus deze kartonnen buisjes gebruiken want daar kunnen er veel meer in een hotel omdat ze minder ruimte innemen door de dunnere wand.
