Followed the easy, straightforward instructions, and in four days the grass was already four inches long – and just in time to relieve my cat's temporary stomach upset after a brief scarf-n-barf episode. Thanks to the reviewer who mentioned that their cat had trouble eating cat grass because, while trying to nibble the blades at the edges, the grass in the center would tickle the cat's nose, making it sneeze. While my cat doesn't have that issue, the little square containers of densely-sown, ready-grown cat grass don't really allow most cats to get at the center, as they generally just nibble along the perimeter. So, because I was planting the grass seeds myself, I distributed the seeds only around the edges of the pot, and not so close together. This morning – my cat's first go with this "home-grown" grass, I could see that she found it much easier get hold of a few blades and actually manage to ingest them. Also, planting just around the edges of a pot doesn't waste seed. So glad to have finally decided to just buy seeds, as my cat's previously preferred brand of ready-to-eat cat grass was getting harder to find in stock, and the quality was getting iffy. The Cat Ladies' seed couldn't be easier to plant and grow, and being able to place the seeds where a cat can more easily get their teeth into the blades of grass is a game-changer. Should have thought of this sooner! And, as I'm no longer wasting money on pre-grown grass, and I'm using very little seed, I can afford to toss the fully grown grass before it starts to attract those pesky little flies. If, like me, you've been buying ready-grown cat grass, try this. It's fun to watch the amazingly quick growth progress, and you can place the seeds in the soil in a way that allows your cat easy eating access. A definite win for cats AND their humans.

This seed sprouts and grows quickly. It is easy to grow. I use the peat moss disks from the cat lady to grow these seeds. I do see wispy mold on the dirt if I over water but it does not bother the cat. It is a pretty color green and grows to about 8" high.

I have been ordering and using this grass seed for over a year now and have been continually impressed by how well it grows! This is much more economical than buying pre-grown wheat grass or cat grass from a store. It also seems to last longer. I first ordered it at the advice of a plant seller at a local market. She told me her secret to her lush Cat Grass was these seeds! Of course their tables were filled with full grown grass in fancy containers, but I think it's more fun and easier on my wallet to plant these seeds in my own cute containers, have my kids help with the planting and then watch the grass grow together. I decided to try growing cat grass after reading about its potential digestive benefits and how it may help support dental health. I’m happy to report that these organic seeds absolutely deliver when it comes to growth. Following the instructions on the package, I avoided over watering and kept the planter in a shaded area for the first couple days. Germination was impressively quick, and once moved to a sunny spot, the grass grew rapidly and evenly. The germination rate appears very high, and I appreciate that the seeds are organic. The end result was a lush, vibrant planter filled with healthy-looking grass. Unfortunately, my two cats were completely uninterested. I even tried hand offering a few blades. One gave it a quick sniff and walked away. The other sniffed it, looked personally offended, and retreated as if I had betrayed her trust. Clearly, fresh greens are not on their approved snack list... That said, I don’t consider this a product flaw. There’s no guarantee every cat will enjoy cat grass, and the seeds performed exactly as advertised. It may simply come down to individual feline preference (or perhaps the coco coir I used). Overall, this is a high-quality, fast-sprouting organic cat grass seed product. While my cats weren’t impressed, I would still recommend it to pet parents whose cats enjoy nibbling on greenery. I may even try another batch later to see if their tastes evolve.

This is definitely a product to buy if you have an indoor cat but an outdoor cat as well. Cats love to eat grass and the oat seeds and this bag are organic and they sprout very quickly. I placed it in a clay pot with soil and sprinkled the seeds on top then carefully cover them lightly over and sprayed them with the water bottle daily. In about 4 days they were ready for my cat to enjoy. They had grown about 4 in tall. There are so many seeds in the bag so you will get a lot of uses for sweet fur baby

My cats love this grass! I love it, too, as it's very easy to grow. I have a dish so that I can grow it hydroponically. It only takes a couple of days to grow, too. I actually have to cut it to keep it alive. But growing it is simple. I just lay a single layer of grass seed on top of the tray. The bottom is where the water goes. I water, too, and it lasts at least a week. The only issue is that my crazy cat Alex loves to eat the seed, as is. It never hurt him. We didn't realize he was doing that right away. So, the grass is a big hit with my two cats. I'm sure it will be loved by your cats, too.

Ich habe die Grassamen für meine Hunde bestellt, da vor allem im Winter nicht immer Gras zum Fressen in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden ist. Die Samen wurden von meiner Seite in einem Blumentopf mit einer einfachen Erde gepflanzt. Dort sind sie relativ rasch gekeimt und gewachsen. Meine Hunde nehmen das Gras immer wieder gerne an. Persönlich würde ich dir Grassamen wieder kaufen.
