1 gal Modern Masters ME289 Brass Metallic Paint Collection, Satin Water-Based Decorative Metallic Paint

Modern Masters is a very unique metallic specialty paint. Pricing comparable to most high end premium paints for a specialty metallic paint. It beautifully accents and highlights any properly primed surface with life with it’s settled metallic sparkle. In this project I used the Modern Masters BRASS. In order for this product to look it’s best, a base coat of a somewhat similar paint color in an eggshell finish will do the trick. Since it requires multiple coats in order to achieve a solid and true metallic finish & sheen. If applied on woodwork or high traffic areas 2 coats of added master clear finish is highly recommended for added protection with several options available. A MM extender (ME65116) is a must additive to your metallic paint to keep a wet edge preventing it from streaking, lap marks or drying too fast. Keep in mind, this will also ad a bit more time to your drying and re-coat time but we’ll worth it to achieve a professional finish. Even tho, this is a water based and a low voc’s paint, it still has somewhat of an order in case you’re sensitive. Since it’s a water based product is easy water clean up. The product doesn’t touch up very well due to its metallic properties. So, re-coating is best and specially after it’s been sprayed. If you’re a crafty DIY a little bit of practice with the product is highly recommended mostly due to product being sensitive to temperatures that will affect product workability drastically. I use, like and recommend the metallic Modern Masters because of their range of pre-mixed colors and finishes. But mostly, because my clients love the unique look Modern Masters has achieved with their line of metallic specialty products! Beautiful, simply stated!!
