Great product!
I read all the reviews before purchasing. Some reviews were good and some Not as good. I decided to try it out. All but 1 strawberry plant has been planted and now turned green. I still have hope that even that one will turn green since some have just popped up. At the time of the picture a couple had not quite greened up but have since the picture. I followed the directions and planted all plants in some type of pot with a store bought compost manure mix. The plants shipped well and were easy to follow directions and plant. They are growing quickly now that they are green and super healthy. I would 100% recommend and buy again. Best of all they were a great price!

Overbearing Strawberries
Planted them as directed. Growing well. Can't wait to get strawberries. Healthy roots. Condition of plants was great. Instructions very easy to follow.

These survived the blazing California heat. First berries were delicious, but few in number.
Waited to give these berries a chance before reviewing. First of all, these bare roots arrived in excellent condition. I love, love, love strawberries and was excited at the prospect of having fresh berries with the dew still on them, anytime I want. But the Miserable Weather Gods (MWGs) were not having it. I put the berries in the ground as soon as I got them, fertilized them, played classical music, read to them from Leaves of Grass, and watered them with the purest water I could produce with my inline filter. Yet, all this plant pampering was doomed by the MANY days of unrelenting heat. One particular stretch was 30 days of over 100 F (almost 38 Celsius!) DAYAM! That's hot no matter who you are. Poor berries toughed it out, but didn't produce many blooms. Only a couple of precious berries, no matter what I did, including watering them multiple times per day. There's a reason that not much grows in the desert (HINT: It's the freaking heat!) and we turned into the desert where I live. The good news, though, is that the hot days are nearly over and the berry vines are spreading. I even got one or two delicious berries. If I over-winter these lovely plants, they may well produce a bumper crop by December or January. YAY! Great tasting, good for you and fun to grow if you don't live in a zone of unforgiving heat. (If you DO- cover with a sun cloth and water profusely. That might help.)

Unsatisfactory
There were not 25 plants in the box. They were moldy when the showed up and only half of them grow. Please replace this order or refund my money. Thank you

Great Quality, Great Deal!
Just got mine in a couple days ago and I am so happy so far! They showed up earlier than initially projected which was nice! A few showed up with leaves already and within the two days over 15 of them have leaves or are about to have them. All of them have really well established root structure and are showing signs of life. Really impressed with these so far- a lot better than the bare roots youโll find at stores. Will definitely be ordering more!

All plants are growing great.
When we got these, they looked like dirty weeds tied together in a rubber band. My wife separated them and said, "You're going to plant these. They look like weeds and I have doubts." Yes...there were some that looked healthier than others, but I figured that we'd give it a shot. Every single plant is thriving. The strawberry "plugs" are apparently very durable and robust, even if they don't look great when strapped together. I have a bunch of plants growing great on the patio and already producing fruit. NOTE: I'm realizing that I need more plants in the coming years. While they're growing great, and they're already tried to spread into the flower bed around the patio (a good thing for me), each plant only products a few strawberries. I eat a LOT of strawberries, so 25 plants is just a start. I need 100-150 to cover a summer (looking at current production). I've only had the strawberries planted for maybe 6 weeks and getting a few berries turning red right now. Perhaps they'll keep producing all summer, but even then, 25 plants won't overwhelm our kitchen. Perhaps this will change, but just know that you may need more than you think. That being said, my hope was to get most of the plants to grow and produce...and all of them are growing and producing. Product was just what I wanted.
