Elastic Shoe Strap Lace Band for Holding Loose High Heels Shoes

What to do with a too big, loose shoe? Get these wide, sturdy elastic shoe straps! I ordered some low heeled shoes that I loved, but they were a bit too long and a bit too wide. Shoe inserts helped, but walking, they still fell off my feet. As a last ditch effort, I ordered these. And voila! My sloppy, dangerous shoes are now snug, comfortable and attractive. These are meant for shoes with a least a bit of a heel. If the bottom of the strap touches the ground, they won't stay in place and they won't last long. Also, of course they do change the look of the shoe. My shoes are black, so with black straps and black trouser socks, the difference isn't that noticeable.

These are great! The strap broke on my teenagers character shoes just days before show opening. We couldn’t get new shoes in time so decided to try these. They held her shoes on comfortably through a full, three act show of singing and dancing. They were comfortable and looked great. She says her shoes didn’t slip at all and they felt just like they did with the original shoe strap.

So, I think this would work in theory if it was adjustable? I'm not sure how it would sustain from constant use because it definitely would not go back to it's original shape. I also have small narrow feet, so if it were adjustable, then I could have made it tighter to fit my foot specifically, or even if it came in different sizes or different elasticity.

Works great for what they’re intended for. I needed them for a pair of black flats for business casual. It looked a little ghetto as a slip on over my whole shoe though and I was concerned about rapid wearing down under the sole. I couldn’t seem to find any elastic locally, so I cut them, measured over my feet for length, marked the angle, and felt for snug-ness that I wanted, then hand sewed them on like you would for a pair of ballet slippers. Looks and feels way better. If you want to make it a more permanent solution and you’re halfway decent with a needle and thread, I’d recommend you have a look at some YouTube videos on how to modify these into permanent straps.

They have good stretch, but too small for larger foot sizes. I wear a 13 heel.
