Protectant, 1/2 Ounce

I want to start this by dating at first I have them a low rating but it was not because of the product itself. They had a snaffu with the quantity they sent me. After I contacted them they did send me the rest of my order. Now to the actual review. This product is amazing. I have never in my life been able to wear anything that even had the smallest amount of nickel in it. This product has opened up so many possibilities for me and for my child who I unfortunately passed my allergy into. This works as described. It is easily applied and as long as you follow the instructions you will have zero issues. Now I must say you do not only have to use this on jewelry. You can also use this on pant buttons or any fake metal that ends up touching your body. It works well on Copper too. No more green tinged skin. You won’t regret buying this. I was not sent this item for free nor am I paid for my review. I am just a very happy customer!!

I usually don’t leave reviews here but I just got too. I honestly loooove this product! I recently bought cheap rings and was told that it is plated and doesn’t tarnish etc. Wore the rings for a few hours and I was surprised to see that they left green stains on my fingers. I was bum about it, until I came across this product. I was skeptical at first but after coating my rings and wearing it for a whole day I am blown away!! This stuff WORKS!!

The media could not be loaded. This product looks nice and shinny once the coating is applied. Not good on rings because it will rub off Eventually. On necklace not so much because it's only rubbing against clothes unless on bare skin.

I love this Jewelry Shield for adding to the life of gold-filled or silver jewelry items. I have some pieces of costume jewelry that belonged to my mother and grandmother. While not hugely valuable, they are very important to me. This Jewelry Shield Protectant has enabled me to wear and keep these pieces in great condition to enjoy into the future. I highly recommend.

Didn't work for me...and can't return

I’m allergic to certain chemicals that react with gold to give me a rash. So I purchased this to coat my wedding ring so I could wear it. I did four coats the first time and I was able to wear my ring without issue for two events. After that the rash came back, so now for it to be effective I would have to do it for every event I wear the ring.

I’m allergic to nickel and metal and a jewelry store recommended this because my skin kept irritating from my allergy, and it was $1,000 ring so it wasn’t the ring itself, and I put it on, and no more irritation for a few days. You will have to reapply every so often if the irritation goes back. But it saved me $800 to get it corrected for my allergy. I’ll take that!

Sensitive skin here. My engagement ring is very beautiful and my fiance spent a pretty penny. Even the most expensive jewelry can irritate my skin. I have had this for a few months now. I used to have to take my ring off and wear it when I went out. I felt so horrible not wearing my ring. Stumbled across this jewelry shield and read all the negative comments. When I bought it at first I would have to apply this everyday. Then I paid close attention to the areas that was touching my skin. As of today I have worn my ring for 3 weeks straight and have not had to reapply. I have showered, washed dishes, exercised, sweat etc... and I can wear my ring without taking it off. I made a thick coating and let it dry real good. I have not had to buy a new bottle and as for me money well spent.
