My old car had an issue with too much moisture getting in to the point where it would drip from the windshield when I turned on the defrost in the mornings. I bought this little packet because I wanted to be able to reuse it. I tossed it on my dash at night and the next morning I had zero issues with moisture. I even moved it to my back windshield and it still kept the moisture off of the front one. It's powerful enough that you only need one for a small car as long as you don't have puddles. When I reheat it, I do it in 3 minute intervals as I've read that leaving it in there for 6 can actually damage it even though the instructions say to do that. During the wet Seattle winter I only had to recharge it once every two weeks. I've had it for about 7 months and the indicator won't quite get blue anymore when I heat it but for the price, I'll probably order another one for the winter. I would've had to spend way more on disposable products like damp rid to get the same results. Overall, it works great for small spaces with moisture intrusion issues within reason. I wouldn't recommend this for a space that is constantly being blasted with moisture like a bathroom because it will probably wear out a lot faster.

Absorbed alot of water in my car trunk, however, it did not survive the microwave and i have ten thousand silica gell balls all over my kitchen (and obviously got one use out of it.) Work on the shell durability a bit guys. It also took way longer to dry it out in the microwave than 10 minute rating but i did not check this apartment microwave was 800 watts.

I originally bought these to put in a car to take out the moisture, but I totaled the car two weeks after owning it so I ended up throwing one in the tool bag and it sat in the bed of my truck underneath the tunnel cover, and the bag got wet and it sucked up every bit of the damn mess so I would say they work well

I live in the Pacific NW and have a 2013 hyundai elantra that seems to have a leak somewhere because I've always gotten terrible condensation and having to deal with foggy windows that take forever to remedy before i can actually drive to work, so I finally decided to look for a solution and tried these. I'm not sure if we've just had more of a mild winter this year, but I don't feel like I have nearly as much condensation or fog in the mornings (I usually leave between 5am-6am too so I'm sure you can imagine how annoying that is to deal with every single morning in the cold), after using for probably about 3 weeks, I just noticed the blue dot finally turned pink so it seems like it held up quite a bit. The first morning it got really cold when i started using these, I noticed my car was almost the only car in our apartment parking lot that had no fog on barely any of the windows, and was so happy I didn't have to sit there wiping my windows and blasting the heater, I put one in my trunk and one up on my dashboard. I gave 4 stars since it might be a placebo effect and want to make sure it continues to work after recharging (unfortunately our microwave just broke so I have to wait until we get a new one)

My car sits outside in a very damp rainy climate. It was so moist inside all the time until I used these. Moisture gone. Also use them in deck boxes outside. Pillows are absolutely dry inside. These little guys do the job!

loved these. bought 3. must-have if your car is old...you never know if it's leaking somewhere. only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars is the circle gauge in the middle easy fades after a while and it's hard to tell if it's pink or blue.
